Red Lion Hotel, Hillingdon

Had a fantastic stay, really lovely pub, special shout out to the female cleaner who made my kids feel very special, she was very friendly and lovely. The ladies at breakfast had smiles on their faces and very welcoming also made all my family feel welcomed. And then leaving on the Sunday the lady at the front desk was very lovely and friendly. I hope you can pass on this on the your very friendly staff.

The family room was wonderful, my kids loved the bunks and the staff were all friendly, kind, and helpful. The fish & chip shop across the street is delicious and convenient, and the breakfast at the Red Lion was amazing! We would not hesitate to return.

An amazing authentic English pub. Spacious room and Amazing tub. Friendly, helpful staff only short drive to Heathrow. Enjoyed the pub food and family like atmosphere. What I think England should be. Absolutely loved it and will definitely stay again if we ever come back to this country again

Excellent food and lodging. Convenient to transportation. Surrounding area seems a little economically depressed but we were there to visit family only and The RedLion was perfect for our needs.

We enjoyed our stay at Red Lion Hillingdon. We were able to have an early check in which was much appreciated after a long flight from Australia. Check in was fast. Staff at check in, restaurant and pub were very pleasant. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. It was well located to visit family and friends and enjoy revisiting St Johns, across the road where we were married 45years ago. Added benefit that the A10 bus to/from Heathrow Central Bus Station stops just about 100m from the Red Lion and takes just about 15mins at very little cost simply using your credit card to tap on and off.

Great friendly hotel fantastic from check in to check out evening food fantastic drinks great choices and breakfast was absolutely delicious and wonderful 10 minutes from Heathrow so just perfect for a stop over when picking up friends and family from the airport - overall a perfect place for any visitors and would highly recommend - big thanks to the staff and team for running such a wonderful place

Well lit car park with good size spaces. Warm welcome by friendly staff. Clean room with comfortable bed. Room temperature perfect. Everything we needed for our stay. Particularly liked the coffee, paired chocolate, biscuits and chilled milk and water. Appreciated the large bottles of toiletries rather than the usual travel sized sachets. Bar and Restaurant great. Conveniently located for picking family up from Heathrow. Good value for money. Our second visit and we will return.

We arrived late after dropping family off at Heathrow, but managed to find a parking space. After a warm welcome, we found our room was spacious and clean. There were takeaways and shops nearby, but we chose to eat in the restaurant. Our food was good and reasonably priced. Our bed was comfortable and the room was just the right temperature. Breakfast choices next morning were plentiful and interesting. All staff we encountered were helpful and polite.

Hotel was OK overall - room was a little tired but nothing terrible. Cleanliness was, again, OK but not immaculate. What really let this place down was the service at breakfast, advertised as being served 8am-10am. We had opted and paid in advance for the continental breakfast. Arriving at 9.38am, there was barely any food - no pastries, bread, fresh fruit etc., just empty platters; there was cereal but no milk, and there were jugs of orange juice but no glasses. I asked a waitress at the buffet if any food was being replenished and was told she would go and check - nothing materialised. My teenager asked if there were any glasses and was simply told "they're in the dishwasher" whilst walking away. A waitress came to our table (where I had coffee and the children had dry cereal), and asked if we wanted to order off the hot menu (at additional cost). I said no just continental, but there is no food, will there be any? I was flippantly told 'breakfast is till 10am and it's 10am now, but I'll go and check' (15 minutes after the first one supposedly went to check), again, said whilst walking away. At this point, it was 9.55am and we'd been there since 9.38am. Guess what - she never came back either, and no food ever materialised. I intended to inform reception at checkout but there was nobody there. On the plus side, the receptionist at check-in was lovely and very welcoming. Maybe she could train the breakfast staff on how to treat customers.

I booked this last minute as my flight was cancelled from Heathrow. Staff were warm and welcoming. We had a lovely spacious family room. We were so exhausted after a full day of travelling and flight delays with our 2 year old. This hotel was a real find and amazed that we got something like this so close to the airport. Great breakfast too. Thank you to all the staff.
