Stayed at this hotel for one night to catch up with family. Chose the hotel for it's rural location, free parking, swimming pool and food options on site. We have a teenage daughter who was allowed to swim at any time, with adult supervision, unlike many spa hotels.
Accommodation was in a modern build next to the main house where the restaurant and bar were. We chose the restaurant option (vs. bar menu) which was good, but very expensive for the standard of the food. Cost £50 per head without many alcoholic drinks within our group. Pleasant staff and very nice dining room, just very expensive for the standard.
Had a feel of a conference hotel, but we knew that before arriving. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

New place is a very beautiful paradise, with nice and friendly staff who are always ready to go above and beyond just to satisfy customers. The breakfast buffet was nice and tasty with many options to choose from. I was there with my kids, nephews, and sisters, the support we got was out of this world. The swimming pool was lovely, the green areas are beautiful and well looked after. We so much enjoyed New place the kids didn't want to come home. We will definitely be going back soon.
Thank you, everyone, for making our stay a memorable one with your kind hearts.

I booked 2 Nights stay in at The New Place Hotel.
As my daughter wanted to visit Paultons Park. Peppa Pig World. We originally booked for 3 people 2 Adults and 1 toddler. 4 yrs old. Hotel.com never added to our bookings. So on Arrival we had to pay an Extra £40.00 for a Superior Room. In which was a Queen size bed. A small bath and a very small single bed. My daughter always sleeps with my wife. Therefore I had to sleep in a very uncomfortable bed. In which I woken up with a bad back. The so called mattress was flat as a pancake. Twin beds would of been ideal. But maybe just wanted to charge the extra.
Neighbour was talking most of the night, was difficult to sleep.
Note , walls are very thin.😱
Never interacted with staff , only on check-in.
The shower was nice and warm. Many toiletries to use.
Nespresso coffee machine was ok. Hotel given me 3 pods. Lovely walk around the 32 acre's of land.

I was attending a family wedding and the hotel was close to the weddings venue. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very helpful.I have beer diagnosed with MS and have mobility issues. I found getting round the hotel grounds difficult at times especially where there are steps with no handrails. I found the walk to the bar and restaurant very challenging due to this problem
. Some of the ground was uneven too which creates a trip hazard. The meal in the bar was very good. I had fish and chips. I wouldn’t stay here again due to my mobility issues. The room was very dark as well. The bathroom had a lovely shower and I got a slip resistant mat from reception. The mat was OK but it would have been better to be square so it would fit in the shower tray and create a safer standing area. The bar was very nice. I didn’t use the restaurant

All staff very friendly and pleasant. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Having booked this break 4 months ago it has turned out to be a nightmare. We checked in to our superior double room only to find out that we had been put into a disabled room. We went down to reception to ask to be moved but we’re told that due to a wedding there were no rooms available. We were not happy with this situation and suddenly another room appeared.
We went into the new room only to find it was unbearably hot, despite the fact that the radiator and towel rail were off. It turned out that the heat was coming from the mirror in the bathroom. It turns out that they are designed to be anti steam, however you could not touch the glass or get near it as it was so hot. We mentioned this to reception who said they would try to look at it.
We also had to constantly ask for toilet rolls and tissues as they were never replenished when the room was cleaned.
Breakfast was also a problem, food and drinks always running out and no help from the children who were acting as waiters and waitresses.
All of this was discussed when we checked out and the manager promised to email us later in the day. Unsurprisingly we received nothing, I have today rung the hotel to be told that she is away for a couple of days.
The hotel appears to only be interested in wedding parties anyone else has to just fit in around them.
Stay at the hotel at your own risk.

Lovely stay at New Place. Clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Great pool, which our toddler enjoyed. Tasty breakfast and stunning venue. Room was comfortable and so quiet! We stayed in one of yhe mews buildings in a family room with a lovely smaller-sized child's bed.

Dreadful night away for our first trip together for more than 13years without kids.
Room too hot and noisy, pillows were absolutely awful. Was on an online blood alcohol content calculator at 3am trying to work out earliest we could go home. We ended up having breakfast and asked a member of staff for a fresh spoon and was handed one from a used table in progress of being cleared.
Everything seemed too much effort when we asked staff for assistance.
On arrival we were not told there were child swimming lessons that evening, which impacted our plans at very short notice.
