Room was very small would not have classed it as a family room. Lovely friendly staff ♥️

1 night overnight whilst visiting family. Clean, welcoming, great breakfast choices. Brekkie had somethimg for everyone from berries to bacon, beans to Branflakes.all well cooked and fresh. Only minor negative was some noise BUT it's Christmas so that's expected ☺️

The customer service brilliant, always happy to assist with a smile. I personally found the double bed too soft and the kids found the double sofa bed a little on the small side so next time we will book 2 rooms. For the price is really was a great and with breakfast included Overall a great stay!

Great standard place for couple nights lodging. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Not much going on and stayed in what seemed like family floor with very loud and noisy 'neighbours'. Room very dusty and basic

The staff were fab and friendly, from the welcome to breakfast and a wee drink in the bar everyone was lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but what there was was nice and the experience was relaxed. Only niggles I had were our room was next to the trainline….. I maybe missed this in a description or review somewhere but I did hear a couple through the night! Also I got woken up by someone’s alarm at 5.30, then their snooze went off at 5.45 at which point I think they must have nipped for a cigarette as there was a door bang…. Then they didn’t quite make it back for the alarm going off AGAIN at 6 so had to listen to that until door bang again and it was turned off….. we didn’t have anyone next to us so assuming it came from above…. I know the hotel can’t do anything about inconsiderate guests but I’d take earplugs! Also would have been nice to have somewhere to put recycling, I was traveling with kids and we produced a few plastic bottles, I ended up bringing them home. Overall though a decent hotel in a decent location.

Stayed here a few times and usually very happy. However the room was very cold and the heater is very weak, took over an hour to heat up. Not ideal with children. Travel cots we’re damaged or had wrong size mats. Breakfast was poor, muffins were very very stale, you could knock them on the table. Most the breakfast was gone by time we arrived at 9:15, appreciate this is close to the end of service but all food should be available during breakfast hours. Sausages overdone and was like chewing a piece of leather

Stayed with partner in accesible room which is in need of an update. Entrance into bathroom not wheelchair friendly as has a small step into it. Door to adjoining room of concern as doesnt appear to be suitable lock. Also travelled with another adult with children. When asked for toothbrush kit hotel didnt have any. Plenty of disabled parking but not wide spaces so makes it difficult getting someone into a wheelchair.
