A lovely stay. Fantastic location, very helpful staff and a good breakfast. Secure parking next door so we could forget about car during our stay. Rooms are very small with sofa bed folded down for a family of 4. The sofa bed mattress had definitely seen better days it was very uncomfortable.

we the family reserved for 5 nights, No power outlet sockets around or close to beds, we called for a solution so they send us an extension from a socket far away. 2nd day in the morning I complained of no A/C, the front desk employee promised to solve this problem. 3rd day i talked with another one who said sorry my colleague yesterday most likely forgot to send someone to fix and he promise to do that, immediately. but no action done On the 4th day i went again to front desk mad, a lady with sharp voice, gave me the conclusion : we do not have A/C its down for some time, you are not the only one. Room was very hot during night, could not sleep. Will not go there again and i do not recommend it for visitor to Newcastle in spite of the good location

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was misleading - £10 fixed fee appears to be per day so an overnight stay, even less than 24 hours came to more than this. Others were parked directly outside the hotel and whether or not this is permitted we weren’t told this was possible so paid more than other guests. Not the hotel’s fault but did not sleep much due to noisy guests in the corridors, including someone trying to get into our room around 1am. Breakfast was included which was one of the reasons we chose the hotel but there was a wait on the majority of the food and though the staff were working hard, demand outweighed supply and many guests were standing waiting. Booked two rooms for a family and requested interconnecting if possible as we don’t fit in one room. Was told on check in that because we had booked 2 of the same type of room (double with sofa bed) these couldn’t be connected and that if we had booked one of these and a twin, we could have. There was no option to change to this and if my message had been responded to and mentioned, I’d have chosen this. Overall, staff were lovely, location was decent, rooms were functional but with the other negatives, probably wouldn’t stay again.
