Marlin Waterloo

Staff and service were excellent. Located close to the Waterloo Station and Big Ben. Ideal for being in the center of most of the major London attractions. My family had the deluxe suite and it was smaller than anticipated but it worked for a one night stay.

Location was ideal but the room were too small for a family of 4.

There was nothing I would change with this hotel. From the moment we stepped off the train at Waterloo, it was only a 7 minute walk to the hotel door. The staff were friendly and very helpful for the whole of our stay. The room was lovely and clean and just right for our family of 4. It was right on the doorstep of the tube station, so easy to get into city centre. We would definately stay again.

We had a night stay at Marlin Waterloo. Ours was classic room which is quite spacious for couple and toddler. Convenient from Waterloo underground and London eye, clean, beautiful London skyline view

We stayed for a night with the family. Excellent room with a kitchen which suited us with the 2 children. Well equipped. Comfortable.

We loved the location! Very walkable to main London attractions, including shopping, restaurants and pubs as well the Thames. We compared to many properties and Marlin Waterloo was the best value! The kitchenette was very handy and felt that the room was designed well for a family of 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and this would be our first choice for a return trip to London

The bedroom is too small for a family of 4. The bed was terrible, and the breakfast was not worth it. The staff was really helpful and very kind.

We had a great time at London's Marlin Waterloo. The hotel's location was excellent -- you can see the London Eye from the hotel's front door, and a couple nights we walked from Trafalgar Square and the theater district back to the hotel. Not a short walk but not a million miles. The room wasn't huge by American standards, but it was okay for two adults and two teenagers. The hotel staff was very nice. All our family birthdays happen to fall within about ten days. The hotel staff dressed the room for a birthday surprise (balloons, card, message on the mirror, Paddington bear) for my son on arrival for a small fee. The boys then secretly asked the hotel if they would do the same thing for free, as a surprise, for my wife and my birthday a couple days later, since the boys didn't have any British spending money. The hotel did them the favor, no charge, just to be nice. There's a Pret a Manger right next door, an all night souvenir and light grocery store two doors away, and a larger grocery store next door that stays open late. One block to the Lambeth North Underground Station. Lobby was pleasant, the bar/lounge was very nice. The bathroom was also very nice and modern, and in the past we've found some British plumbing -- well, troublesome. Very well stocked kitchenette, from the coffee and French press to the fully stocked cabinets. For the price, the Marlin Waterloo was a great value. Very happy with our choice. Good spacious room for a family of 4. Great service and helpful staff. Next to a little market and 2 tube stops. Only thing is that the clothes dryers don’t work. But great place overall

Our stay was fantastic! The receptionists were friendly, the room was lovely and clean and all we needed for our family of 4. The little kitchenette was fantastic and I managed to cook bacon, eggs and mushrooms for us all then just put everything in the dishwasher- total genius! Will definitely be using it for all trips to London as so convenient to Waterloo and no noise overnight.
