Park Plaza County Hall London

Our stay was amazing. The hotel was great and a fantastic location. The staff were very friendly and approachable and the extra surprises for the children was lovely!

Park Plaza was a great location to stay for a quick overnight before catching a train to northern England. The staff was super friendly and when we had questions they were quick to help us. The hotel is very close to the train station and tube and right by the London Eye and water. Great restaurants and sites are all around! The hotel was very family friendly and there were many, many families on summer holiday with young children which is good to note if you are looking for a quieter place. I should also mention that the included breakfast was great and had a really nice selection of foods. We were pleased with our overnight stay and would stay there again if we are in the area!

Great staff and service as soon as we arrived, a great hotel for a family stay, central to the South bank and great transport links. Great food and lovely touches for the children.

Excellent customer service. Room was overall cleaned. Only comment on the breakfast buffet, we noticed small unattended children picking up food with bare hands. We would recommend children under certain age should not be left unattended around food. But overall, breakfast selection and staff service was great. Hotel was located in excellent area with easy access to everything. We were very pleased with our stay.

Fantastic stay, staff were excellent with kids and plenty of easter treats to keep them amused. Easter egg hunts as well. Room was brilliant for 2 adults and 2 kids and plenty of in room refreshments. Very accomodating for luggage and extra services that were required.

On arrival the staff were very friendly, we had booked a an executive room with a view of the London eye and was told we had been upgraded to a junior suite. The room was big and did have a great view of the eye and Big Ben but the room was worn and a bit tatty and if I’d paid full price of £400 per night I would have been very disappointed. Staff were excellent throughout and location was excellent for Waterloo tube or 5 minute walk across the bridge into Westminster.

The location of the property is convenient. We were traveling with 2 small children and received earlier check in which was appreciated. We were not offered a room up grade....we had a Double bed room and a pull out couch which was not comfortable at all for adults. The staff is not overly friendly at all. We had to ask for our garbage to be cleared on 3 separate occasions and requested garbage bags which never arrived. We had coffee and complimentary water on the first 2 days but there were never replenished for our remaining 8 days. Our dining experiences were fine but breakfast buffet in far too expensive for children - We were charged $25 pounds per child? That was ridiculous. We love London but would not return to this property. Perhaps we were the unfortunate unlucky ones this visit to this location.

Good location very close to the Waterloo station where you can get London Underground and Trains. Also walking distance to Big Ben and other London sights. The property is kids friendly and the breakfast was great with lots of options. Didn’t get a nice view but hopefully some other time. The checkin and checkout was a breeze. We arrived earlier than check in time and they were able to give us a room to settle in.
