Ramada by Wyndham Leeds East

Stayed several times whilst visiting family. Rooms are comfortable and quiet with decent shower and bathroom. Staff very pleasant. Restaurant food is average.

The rooms are lovely with working air conditioning. We were out in the family room directly across from the door to the stairs, lift and gym, expecting the worst noise wise I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Bed extremely comfortable and being at the back of the building overlooked a seating area for the services but had nice views to a landscaped play area with walks around the lake. The front rooms overlook the hotel and services car park but you really wouldn't have known you were at a services hotel. The bar and Starbucks in the hotel are 24hrs but the restaurant isn't. That said the services next door has a 24hr McDonalds and loads of other food places not 24hrs.

The hotel was lovely, clean and nice and quiet. In a lovely location within distance of other eateries. Has nice wooded area for walks and a garden with timber climbing frame for children. Only concern was the slippyness of the shower tray (would advise to wear flip flops in shower) I informed the staff and they were really receptive and said they would pass on my comments. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, self service, well cooked and well stocked. Really enjoyed my birthday stay and will definitely stay/book again.

really nothing to complain about the general condition of the room, and the commom facilities and sorrounding were actually superb compared with other hotels at service stations. the only thing was that the shower water was scalding hot. Called someone to help who was only telling us the whole hotel had the same shower temperature which cannot be adjusted coole. You cannot really use the shower unless you are prepared to get some scalding injury. It really ruined our day especially we have a child who really needed a proper shower after a whole day of play. Do not recommend for family trip.

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Great for family.

Great location for the centre of Leeds, family room had sufficient space and was generally clean apart from chewing gum left down the side of one of the beds. Excellent reception and bar staff.

Turned up at my hotel I booked a week in advance with the wife and 3 kids, to be told that my booking hadn’t gone through after driving 5 hours to get there, and for them to say there’s no rooms available anyway!

I wiped one of the mugs with a towel and it marked the towel a dark brown. The headboards had marks on them too. There was banging and shouting that could be heard from the first floor which isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it went on for so long I was surprised they didn’t intervene. (Arguing, banging and what sounded like children running around, all at 2am).

We had a one-night stay at this hotel. Terrible hygiene. The carpet had many stains, and it was clear they did not thoroughly clean the bathroom. One of the toilet paper rolls had been used halfway, and it was evident it had been used by the previous guest (the toilet paper was not torn along the perforations). I had to clean the toilet seat with my Dettol cleaning wipes because there were poop stains on it. We checked in late with our child, so we did not request a room change. Fortunately, the air conditioning was very comfortable during the hot weather. And there is a children playground next door.
