For a junior suite and the price very dissatisfied, extremely noisy, so no sleep for the two night stay, so much for being relaxing, bathroom and shower not usable unless you are 4ft and blow for the shower. Curtains don’t shut out the light considering meant to be black out blinds, need updating and also as the restaurant is separate from the hotel no in room breakfast offered.

Just an overnight stay with girls to celebrate a birthday. We had a family with two doubles which worked out great. Check in was quick, room clean and no issues. Booked in the morning for breakfast which was fine.

The room was super clean, we got the family room which was 2 I believe queen sized beds, super comfy pillows. Shower was nice and all the amenities were great. I also spent some time in the gym which was completely empty, it’s very small but if there’s not a lot of people then it’s perfectly sized.

Hotel is very cozy and welcoming. The only issue is that we booked an Executive room, and expected air conditioning that actually worked. The aircon only recycled the air in the room and made for an uncomfortably stuffy night. We opened the window after a couplt of hours, only to hear every shout and scream from the clubgoers on \Boar LAne. Expected more to be honest. My sons family had the same experience in another room on the 4th floor the same night. Not good from Marriott.

The one good thing about this place was the breakfast. However, the top reason for choosing this property is that it claimed to have air conditioning. But if they did, it was completely ineffective. We arrived during a heat wave, and the room was like a sauna. The front desk response was, "it's hot weather," which is utterly nonsensical. Isn't the job of air conditioning to cool the room when the weather is hot? If not, then why am I paying for a room with air conditioning. It was a terribly uncomfortable stay for my family, and very disappointing. Also, there were four of us booked in this room, and yet there was only 2/3 of a roll of toilet paper. so we had to ask for more. Not finished yet: one of the towels had a brown stain, so we had to ask for a replacement. Overall I would rate this place as 'Sucks'.

We were given a room on the 6th floor. We requested a cot at least 3 times and told we'd be given one but none was provided throughout our stay. PARKING is £15 per night in a nearby multi-storey car park. At night we expected the noise from the nearby clubs and bars, but we DID NOT EXPECT the idiots revving their engines inside the multi-storey car park at 3am for at least 2 hours. This happened every night and the loud reverberations kept us and our daughters up. From around 6am the trains start and you can hear them clearly from the hotel too. We stayed as a family, and this is the first trip where our older daughter has said she would never want to go back to a hotel and we absolutely agree. I'm sure it's great if you're looking to party in the city. But for families just want to have a nice weekend in Leeds do not bother. It cost over £300 for two nights of torment.

Great hotel, a little tired in places. Stayed in room 528. Nice room, bathroom was a step back in time with the lovely green tiles. Shame about the on and off noise that kept us awake all night. In for 10 seconds off for 30 second. Like the noise of a noisy fan. Not sure what it was, certainly wasn’t anything to do with the heating. And the ice machine just in the corridor is very appealing to kids as they run up and down the corridor. Not a bad place with the right room. Breakfast was very nice.
