Bloc Hotel London Gatwick Airport

Great friendly check in experience, clean room, tight for space with family and suitcases but super convenient for the airport.

Pillows were so hard it actually hurrbmy neck and cot for baby was also very hard he wouldn't sleep in it. Room overall too small. Basically fine if you're a couple but just not an in option again for us as a family.

Did exactly what we needed. Location is perfect and directly by departures and above the check in area. We had the family room and no complaints at all and although you could argue the rooms are a little on the small side, we knew this in advance and not an issue as they are very functional.

Very good hotel, when I cm out the departure me and my baby was tired, and everything was very smooth thanks for the stuff, they were very helpful and friendly.

This hotel seemed like the easiest option as we would be in the terminal however its still quite a walk from the short stay parking especially when you have quite a bit of luggage and also children. The instructions as to where the entrance for the hotel were a bit vague so wasn't sure what lift level to go to and where abouts' in the terminal it actually was. The app to unlock the door wouldn't work so after getting to our room with the kids and all our luggage the door wouldn't open so had to go back downstairs to speak to someone to open the door. This hotel is not as convenient as it seems

Perfect for our small family. We needed somewhere in the airport to aid us for our early flight the next day. We found the room very functional, modern and trendy, and exactly what we needed - along with great views of the planes, to show our little boy.

We stayed in the family room (king bed and bunks) before our early morning flight, which my 4 year old son loved as you could see the planes from the room. The rooms are sng but fit 4 (incl. A baby) of us in and our luggage. You get 20% off the weather spoons down the hall which was a bonus. All in all, would definitely stay again

My stay at the Bloc Hotel was exactly what I was looking for a quiet, safe, and convenient spot to sleep after spending a wonderful day in London, with a very early flight in the morning. The fact you can catch both a train and plane steps from the check-in desk made it a perfect hub for me. I was able to fly into London in the morning, then (with early check-in) put my bags and quickly freshen up in my room, head down, and catch a train right into London. I spent a wonderful day in the city and then trained back to crash after a long day of sightseeing. I was able to sleep well and then wake up and catch an early flight out. I had a small issue with the shower, but when telling the front desk, they immediately sent someone to fix it. It's exactly as the pictures show--a modern, clean space, accessible to major transportation facilities. It's a very small room and bathroom, but it was perfect for me as I was staying alone. I wouldn't recommend it for a full family of five, but I don't think that's really who they are selling to anyway. They are as shown and honest about what they have to offer. If I ever come back to London, I will certainly be staying there again.
