Me and my wife had a great stay in this nice family run hotel. Its has a lake view and just 4 min walk to the beach and boat to Isla Mulheres. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are going over to the party area I can recommend the bus as the stop is very close only 12 pesos compared to 30 dollars for taxi.

No wonder that this property has such high ratings. We were traveling with a 4 year old and loved the space that we had in the room. The room (suite) was lagoon facing with one bedroom and a separate living room that overlooked the swimming pool and the lagoon. The staff was incredibly friendly. As soon as we landed, I was added to a whatsapp group to communicate with the hotel staff and get answers to any questions I had. This was also the means of communication for any requests such as water, towels, etc. The entire facility is very well maintained. A visit to the roof top bar is a must do. The view of the sunset and the drinks are equally amazing. There is an Oxxo Convenience store right across the street that has a lot of useful things. We got eggs and bread which meant we were taken care of in terms of breakfast. It also has a reasonable alcohol selection, so partying at night, while maintaining loudness levels, was also taken care of. A few things to note - This is a family run hotel so it does not have a commercial feel to it. The commercial hotels tend to have lotion and paper napkins, which were missing here. This is definitely not a deal breaker but something worth noting. We loved our stay at Casa Tortugas. Like the name says, it is definitely a hidden gem. Thank you to Alex, Cristina and Daniel for making our stay so memorable.

As an experienced traveler I can highly recommend this peaceful respite from the go go go of modern Cancún. This was a multi generational visit with family. The spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment was very comfortable. I do believe that with a bit more effort this boutique hotel could be extraordinary. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. There are no frills though. A nice coffee/ continental breakfast would surely be appreciated by all guests. Mostly European travelers were staying there during my stay. There is not a convenient cafe or $$ restaurant nearby. I would stay there again if I return to the area. Lovely hosts who live on premises.

The hotel is very nice and family owned. It’s off the main road a little but it’s working pretty close distance to most things. Great view of the lagoon, main beach and Ferry are on the other side of the street make it perfect access, Overall had an amazing stay. Definitely will use this location again when I go back

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Tortugas. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It is family owned, designed and operated, so it doesn't have all the amenities and services that the resort hotels does, but, Playa Tortugas is just across the street, and Krudos Restaurant is a 5 minute walk away. Also, if you need anything, Alex, is very helpful. He did everything from ordering a pizza to reserving a Taxi for me. And the swimming pool is phenomenal. I will definitely come back.

This hotel is so beautiful! Checking in was easy and they do it in person so it makes it feel personal. Alex was great and showed us around his family's hotel. The details land hardwork that went into making this place looks so amazing, and great for pictures. There's a elevator which is great. There's a rooftop bar which is alittle pricey but, the views and the atmosphere makes you completely forgot about the price lol. You're on vacation right. We wtayed in the lagoon view room and it was amazing. They have cieling to floor windows which opens all the way up to give a beautiful view from the lagoon. The bed has its own area and you can layback and see the view from here also. The bathroom is cute, it has a mini kitchenette provided with all the utensils. Theres a living room area, and they provide you with drinking water, a mini fridge, and a microwave. They gave us a little pamphlet with things thats around us. The place is quiet and you can almost miss it. Its easy to get around from here, there's a taxi stand right across the street, the ferry to go to the island, an oxxo(7-eleven), swim with the dolphins place, and a money exchang(just make sure you took cash out already and have your passport). Overall our stay here was amazing and would definitely do it again.

A lovely family run hotel. Beautiful building and an excellent family suite. Great pool with lagoon view. Fantastic roof top bar to watch the sunset. Couple of shops and eateries within walking distance. Also the beach and ferry to the island. Larger shops, flea market, bars and clubs only a short drive away. A perfect place to stay with friendly staff and the family only too glad to help with anything needed
