Good location hotel for Shinjuku. The train station is confusing and there isn't a completely underground way to get from the station to the hotel. But once you can figure a route its pretty good location. Although a descent option for families in the area. The slight smell of smoke in the 3 bed room was a bit annoying. Eventually you get use to it. But gave the vibe of a business hotel more than a family hotel. Another thing that gave the business vibe was some of the restaurant options were pretty expensive. (Hotel dinner buffet for 5 would be about $300). There are cheaper options and McDonalds/Starbucks nearby so not that bad.

Easily one of the best hotels to stay in Shinjuku. It’s not in the middle of the hustle and bustle but a little walking distance away from it, which is good because the quiet scene is a plus in your hotel stay. It is definitely a family friendly hotel, and more likely for the upper age group: older young adults, and middle age adults and their families. It’s good for business meetings as well. Hotel Service from all staff is first rate, it’s 2nd to none—- that goes from its door service attendants, to its front lobby staff, to its bell hops and concierge, housekeeping, and parking attendants, etc. The hotel have many accommodations to restaurants, laundry service and a laundromat, massage services in room, of course room service, a convenience store, a clinic, a nursing room, a pool area, fitness area and bathrooms. There are signs everywhere so you won’t get lost too easily. You’re easily treated like Royalty here. The efforts the management put into its customer service and culture here is exceptional as all the workers are exceptionally hard working.

I loved this hotel. It was close to the shinjuku city life, tourist omoide yokocho area and golden gai - which we didn’t go with our kids. Staff was so great and room was cleaned daily. Gym was great and had water we could refill our bottles with. Convenient area and close to Shibuya. Loved it and would stay again with kids. We had an adjoining room perfect for shared spaces and privacy from kids

The hotel is conveniently located and with lots of shops and restaurants. It is very family-friendly with the provision of a baby crib and bath as well as amenity sets for babies. The room is clean and staff service was very good.

Hotel was about 5 mins walk to shinjuku station (if you get the right exit, took me a while to find the hotel when I first arrived). Area was in the quiet area of Shinjuku but easily accessible to convenience stores, food, shopping, drug stores etc. Do check out the Shinjuku part which has a hugee play area if you have children. Room was very big and spacious. Loved it. Staffs were polite and fluent in English. There is the Airport Limo pickup/drop off at the hotel, if timing is too early, there is a pickup at Shinjuku Bus terminal too, very convenient. From Hotel to Narita airport is less than 90 mins.

The hotel property and the rooms were very clean. Daily room cleaning provided slippers, replenished complimentary glass water bottles and toiletries where as hotels I have stayed at only provided once per stay. A little secret that most people aren't away of, they have a subway station (Tochomae Station) right underneath their property & you can exit through their 2nd floor, as their 3rd floor is where their main entrance is located. At this level they have a great convenience store which includes drinks & food like the popular Japanese Seven Eleven stores with a great selection of souvenirs with reasonable pricing ( Godzilla, Hello Kitty) The 2 best features are that the Japan Limousine Bus stops at their hotel ( $39 price er adult includes 2 pieces of luggage & kids are $19 and include 2 pieces luggage) You must purchase your bus tickets through the Japan Limousine Bus on their website and choose the area of Shinjuku ( the ride is one an half an hour so it beats taking the train with your luggage) but double check if the bus is running based on your arrival time and you can see Keio Hotel as an option) Only Keio hotel offers a complimentary private bus to Tokyo Disney Land and Disney Sea which is only available to Keio Hotel Guests ( pre-book in advance after you reserve your Disney Tickets) Their pool is only open during the summer so check with them in advance. The staff are diverse, so many international team members who can speak English.

The carpet smells, the beds are horribly lumpy. The whole hotel is extremely over priced and outdated. I stayed at the W Osaka and had a wonderful experience and for the same amount of $ for two connecting rooms, one of which was a suite. As a family of 5 with 3 children this was extremely important to me. I called around and searched for lots of hotels In Tokyo with this specific criteria. I found the Keio plaza hotel and called them and they assured me they can do a connecting room for me for the 3 nights we would be there-so I booked the rooms. Horrible mistake. When I got to the lobby I spent nearly an hour trying to find a viable solution. I ended with two separate rooms, not side by side. If I had known this was the arrangement I would end up with I would have just gone ahead and chosen a much nicer hotel. I am not impressed

We were travelling with children and choose this hotel because of the Swimming pool showing on the Expedia website. The pool was closed and will be closed until July 2024.
