Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku

Efficient checking in and out. We had a corner room which was clean, quiet, well maintained and spacious for a Tokyo hotel. We had 3 beds and there was still room for 4 large luggages with room to move around. Very convenient location. Minutes away from Shinjuku station and major department stores. There’re also a family mart across the street and a huge Mont-Bell store right next door.

Property is located next to Shinjuku A1 station — easy access for transportation; across from the property are also food courts and family mart — easy access for food. However, our most favourite part is, it’s a stop for limousine bus from and to the airport. Our stay went well — absolutely quiet and everything is so clean (they require to clean your room every 3 days, but can request new towels in between and they will leave it on your door in bag!). They have coin washer and dryer that was very convenient and the status of each laundry washers can be viewed on your tv. They almost have every toiletries you need and everything is located across the lift so you never forget to grab stuff you need. Don’t expect this to be your typical “room service” hotel — they dont have those and as what wrote earlier, you grab your own toiletries or whatever you need from the lobby. The rooms are also not the most spacious that you can only open 1 luggage at the same time but can store other luggage’s underneath the bed. Overall, we liked staying at Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku and we recommend it.

For our first time in Tokyo, this place was very convenient and clean, but small. For 2 people in a Economy Double Room, we made it work, there is luggage storage under the bed. There was a family mart just across the street, shinjuku station was very near, and a walk away to omoide yokocho and lots of restaurants. Laundry, there is laundry rooms on certain floors. You can check which washer/dryers were available by checking the status through your tv which was pretty neat. We had a great stay.

Location is a stone throw across Shinjuku south station. Near the main shinjuku bus terminal too. MacD, 2 cafes and convenient store is nearby Very convenient! Our family have been staying here every time we visit Tokyo. Hotel rooms are not new however is very clean and in good condition. Bed are on the slightly harder side. Pillow are smaller than USA standard. Bathroom water pressure is Good! No complain. Tap water is drinkable. Highly recommended

The hotel is beautiful, they provide you with multiple toiletries, breakfast buffet is great with multiple options to choose from. Rooms are spacious compared to others we stayed in Tokyo. Unfortunately the bed was really small for us being a family of 3, but most beds are small in Tokyo, but very comfortable bed, clean room and the hotel also very clean. They clean every day which is a plus, and the best part is location, excellent location.

I would recommend this hotel to others. Its location to Shinjuku Station is exceptional - you can access trains, buses & taxi’s at the station making transportation so simple. As the majority of hotels room size in Japan is small - my family of 3 were comfortable. Within walking distance to McDonald’s, Wendy’s, 7-11 and coffee cafes - satisfying hunger - a family with young children and just wanting a quick bite or snack after returning from your day’s adventure.

Really good hotel. Even though we booked for 2 adults and 1 child (under 1) the bed was a little small. Apart from that the staff and everything else was amazing

Amazing stay, great location! Would definitely recommend it to friends and families, and will stay there again in my next visit in Tokyo.

We loved this hotel! Super easy and quick to hop onto the trains to explore Tokyo area. Many restaurants are around and tons of fun shopping. The room was small but it didn’t matter since we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

The best part about this hotel is how close it is to shinjuku station. Its also a 10 min walk to pretty much all the restaurant hot spots in the area. Theres also a family mart and food hall right across the street. Basic rooms are small but if you're out most of the day its not a big deal. I'd definitely stay there again
