Shinjuku Washington Hotel Main

My kids and I were there the end of March and The room was stuffy. The windows didn’t open and the air conditioning was set so that it couldn’t go very low. The air was much cooler outdoors than in the rooms.

Really nice reception and check in. Rooms were small. High tub to climb over into shower. Clean and presentable. Handy family mart at the entrance.

The reception desk area is big when checking into the room is like a box. The room is very small for a family. The bathroom is reminding me of an airplane bathroom. The hotel is not catering for a family vacation. The hotel entrance is very confusing the first time arrive at the hotel. The AC stopped working in the middle of the night. The room was very hot.

I stay at this hotel for two nights. The hotel about 10min walking from Shinjuku station. Has decent amount of food selection few blocks away. Has Lawson and family mart in the hotel. They have airport limousine starting around 9am to the airport. Rooms are small so would recommend get the bigger room

Made reservations for two adults and one kid for two different dates, first time they gave breakfast coupon to the kid too, another time they only gave adult s coupons, did they expect parents go to the restaurant and left the kid outside?

When I reserved three rooms for two seperated dates, there is one room for two adults and one three year old kid. The first date the front desk gave me three breakfast tickets, but only two tickets another date. I made us to argue with the restaurant staff.

The property itself was nice and the breakfasts were delicious. It was convenient to have a family mart in the hotel. The staff was wonderful and their English was good. They were attentive to our needs. The big complaint, and the only complaint, we had was the temperature of our room. It was so hot we were very uncomfortable and could not sleep well. They control the temperature. We had a portable AC unit, but it didn’t work well enough to combat the heat. Our room was 80 degrees (27 degrees C). There was no place to go go sit outside the room to be in cooler environment. Because of this, I would not choose to stay there again.

Room is too small for 2 adults and a kid. We had to get another room for 3 days in order to rest well. Hotel should not let travelers of 3 book this tiny room. Also, the room became so warm , 27C, we need to ask for Dan to cool a little, for you are not allowed to adjust the room temperature.
