Sofitel Munich Bayerpost

As well as the pool being unavailable, we couldn't connect to the TV (down) pillows were uncomfortable for us and the menu was unavailable, and they pushed two single beds together for my husband and I. Not great for us and made for difficulty with kids.

The hotel is right by the central train station making it easy to get anywhere via public transportation. Staff is super friendly and we’re great with our son. Pool is amazing. Rooms are clean and spacious for a family of 3.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Sofitel with our 2 teenagers, 16 and 14 before a river cruise. The location of the hotel was excellent. It was right across the street from the main train station, which we used to travel everywhere. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Karlsplatz, about 15-20 minute walk to Marienplatz. On the train, this took 2-3 minutes. We got a junior suite which was a very comfortable king size bed and a moderately comfortable double pullout couch. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of restaurants and quick service close by. I’d highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again if we return to Munich!

Bad location for a family as next to the train station. Not the safest place. Unfriendly staff at reception. Duty manager never there. Room was freezing and we all got sick. A real disaster. Will go to another place next time
