Maritim Hotel München

Our entire family had an enjoyable stay at the Maritim. The rooms and beds were comfortable, clean and quiet.

While we only stayed one night, the staff were extremely helpful and kind to my family. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the accommodations that the staff made for us. Overall the location is extremely convenient to the various transit solutions and is very walkable.

Had a "junior suite". Air condition did not work in the bedroom. No ventilation in the bathroom. No hand towels, just 2 thin bath towels. "Sleep sofa" had sagging mattress:too uncomfortable to sleep on. Bathroom door lock was defective and locked on my son. Needed to call for help. Overpriced for condition and service.

The staff were welcoming and professional. Sara did a job fixing an error with our reservation. The room was spacious and recently renovated. The property while very close to the train station, was very dark at night and not family oriented. The gym, which cost 5 euros per day to use was atrociously small and ill-equipped. But overall in terms of value I would rate the hotel a 5 out of 5- perhaps just keep your fayinside at night time

The hotel is conveniently located from the main train station and has a U-bahn entrance/exit just within steps of its doors. Reception staff was helpful when we asked about the train service to the airport and they took the extra effort to write down the information and checked on the disruption of service for us. Had an episode where there was no hot water in the standing shower in the room and it was quickly resolved when we called the Reception as well. Only downside was the hotel seems a little outdated in terms of its furnishing and design. We were also confused by the changes of hanging towels in the bathroom as some were changed and some not. My child's stuffed toys left on the bed were also found under the bed when we returned after the room was cleaned.

Good location close the the Munich Central railway station. Breakfast at the hotel was limited to a buffet style restaurant for 20 Euros per person so that’s 80 Euros for a family of four - pretty expensive if you each just want a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and a great location in terms of accessing the city. However, the strip club and casino next door were unpleasant surprises when arriving. The pool was much smaller than imagined based upon the pictures, and the gym only had 3/4 functioning machines, no fans, and 2 small dumbells which definitely left me and my family unimpressed.
