Courtyard by Marriott Munich City Center

We travelled as a family and Munich has 4 hotels called “courtyard marriott”. We booked 3 rooms and one of them ended up in a different hotel… we asked the booking to be cancelled and rebooked in the same hotel as the rest of the family and Marriott refused… we ended up paying twice. SHAMEFULL

double booking for my family was done in two different hotels. Both were in Munich, and called Courtyard by Marriott. They would not resolve the issue and force me to double pay my rooms. SHAMEFULL

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The property was clean but the area was terrible and unsafe. Would not recommend specially for family.

I’m sorry to be writing this and I have never written a bad review on here but this time unfortunately I have to. We saw mice running around in the dining room one early evening when we were sitting in the bar area. Glad we never dinned at the hotel. The staff was clean the table tops but didn’t notice them at all. The areas is conveniently located close to the train station but there was a huge Hôtel renovation right across the street that was never mentioned and the noice was difficult to deal with. If we knew about this we would have booked another hotel. The streets around the hotel was filthy and it’s a bit seedy. I wouldn’t recommend the place for a family with young kids. I love Munich and it was my second time there but this time the hotel was disappointing.

Location is good for traveling , Breakfast choices are not so much for family. Room a bit darky.

It was a nice hotel in a very convenient location; minutes from the central station. The neighborhood is not ideal for children but it is only 15mins walking to Marienplatz. You are in an area with a lot of middle eastern culture, with affordable eating options and a grocery store nearby. The room is nice with good amenities.
