Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel

Really enjoyed the hotel and only wish I had been able to spend more time there - the kids must have kept us in the Parks for over 12 hours each day. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, it was a very short walk to the Parks and the room was a good size for the four of us.

The proximity to the park is a big plus. The room is very clean , the staff is very helpful and friendly. Overall experience is great, I would definitely come again. One thing: the late menu after 10.30 is very limited missing kids friendly items since everyone comes late after 11 after the Disney fireworks show

This is the second time I’ve been in this hotel. The first time was around 10 years ago. At that time the hotel cleanliness and services were wonderful. I was shocked this time from the dramatic fall of this hotel. They don’t clean rooms on a daily basis unless you make so many requests and complaints and when they finally do, they do not provide the room with the daily supplies that all hotels usually do like water, tea/coffee bags, paper tissue boxes etc. you have to call the reception and complaint in order for them to provide anything. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone who is taking her/his kids to Disney land. I will definitely use another hotel next time I visit Disney land

Previous visits - fast pass included in price, complimentary cocktail, drinks available in lounge without extra charge, characters in hotel at breakfast, characters at dinner in restaurants (Captain Jack), standard water in room not charged on 2nd day of visit. This visit - none of the above. It’s lost it’s magic. There is little to no value paying £1900 a night for empire room and park ticket. It would be more value to stay in a suite downtown in Paris, get a luxury Uber and spend the day at the park. Half the price and more luxury. Plus the Disney premier pass options that are chargeable now £604 for a family of 4 for a day and yet still doesn’t let you go on a ride repeatedly should not be called “ultimate!”

We booked the half board package and end up no dinning availability for my family and were told after 10:30pm to have dinner plus the staff was very rude to us and the temperature of the room is cold we have to swap the room because there was stain mark in the bed sheet then it was taken another 2 hours of our check in remember that we only able to get in to the room after 3 pm the whole thing was a shamble experience and we asked if we can't have the dinner can we get the refund for the dinner and the answer is NO we hope that Expedia will get refund part of the rates we paid

Excellent, modern hotel. Our second family visit to this hotel but first since the Marvel theming. Really impressed by the standard of the renovation…it’s not cheap but my family of four (kids aged 15 & 13) loved it. We had paid for breakfast and park tickets as part of our 4-night stay. Downloaded the Disneyland Paris app which gave us access to both parks before hotel check-in. Checked In mid-afternoon - Marie was very friendly and efficient. Room was lovely and modern with a nice view overlooking the garden & lake. The fridge in the room was most welcome as it was a hot few days and great to be able to chill the reasonably priced drinks from Auchan at Val d’Europe. Disney prices are steep to say the least!!! Breakfast buffet was plentiful - we all enjoyed both hot and pastry offerings as well as coffee and fruit juice. Didn’t spend too long at breakfast as we were keen to take advantage of the extra ‘magic hour’ of park access before they were open to the public. The hotel is well positioned just outside the Disney Village, but to be fair none of the Disney hotels are far away. Only negative of the trip was that I was charged twice for lunch one day at Hyperion cafe…not the hotel’s fault and to be fair to Disneyland they responded to my email within a couple of hours, checked it and agreed to refund me. Overall, a great experience in a lovely hotel…would definitely recommend.
