More kids than we thought on this side in the pool, which was a surprise because of plantation island being next door and more family friendly. There was no rain water tap to fill your water bottle which is a waste to use plastic bottles once. Jonah who organizes the surf trips was not very friendly or helpful Other than that, the resort is really nice and quiet in the rooms, they are very accommodating on the pick up and transfer to Nadi and it was seamless.

Really enjoyed our stay at Musket Cove (couple with no children). The staff were so nice and accommodating (Oscar at Dick's bar deserves a special mention). It is a beautiful place to just sit and relax. An itinerary is provided on arrival of the weeks activities that you can choose to participate in. Before arriving I was concerned if the included food would be enough for me. I did not need to worry. Buffet breakfast and dinner were amazing and the lunch options were also large and delicious. We will return.

Great location. The island bure was excellent overall, albeit a little tired in some areas. Beds excellent. Our first time to Fiji and found the overall value marginal. $190 Fijian for a return bit ride. All in all we estimated about $1500 Canadian per day for a family of four excluding flights. Water is VERY warm and the inclusion of short snorkeling excursions and use of kayaks and paddle boards was nice. $45 a day for a VERY basic bike seemed a stretch. Vast majority of staff were terrific.

The staff were all exceptional other than the guys at the Activities Desk, though the Managers had a chat with them, and were able to arrange a well priced private boat to take us on an explore of neighboring islands and reefs without any of the usual tourist trap stops at loud floating bars. It was peaceful and wonderful! The room, we stayed in a Beach Bure, was gorgeous, spotlessly clean, and had that traditional building style and feel that the more modern resorts of the same or similar price point lacked. We woke up every morning saying "wow! This place is lovely!" Followed by a coffee on our little porch looking out at the soft ripples of the little bay the resort sits on. It's also quiet. The resort next door had loud parties and lots of families with kids and could be heard faintly from across the bay at times and we were grateful to be at Musket Cove Resort for so many reasons! Beauty, friendly staff, local traditional acoustic music every night after dinner, and the peacefulness. The food was mostly good. I have celiac disease and while they could accommodate most of the time, there seems to be a LOT of confusion everywhere we went in Fiji about what Gluten Free actually is. Be VERY careful and never eat anything fried even when it says GF! They use the same deep fry oil for everything in most places we ate, including other resort hotels. But Musket Cove staff will have special order meals prepared without extra cost. We will stay again!

Island villas were advertised as adult only, ie no one under 15 allowed in this area. This was not true. Small pool in this area is not large enough for noisy children and peaceful enjoyment of adults.

A friend and I were going to have a relaxing week when she had to cancel due to a family crisis but it was too late to cancel so I went alone. My first impression as I arrived was not good as I had booked a beachfront bure however there was no water in front as the tide was out and I did not expect this as all the photos showed water nearly up to the door. I discovered the beach was tidal and when the water is in it was beautiful however a little frustrating when the tide was out as you were left with the pool or a walk to another area. The Fijian staff were delightful the entire time. The food was satisfactory and plentiful. Promised Wi-Fi with not available at 90% of the resort and no television for phone in the rooms. there was a distinct absence of information with no leaflets or brochure in the room and nothing given on arrival to explain what was available or where things were. A very quiet relaxing week there as there was literally nothing else to do.

It’s very very special that upon arrival , the crew always sing to new visitors. Every one at this place ,always have a smile and really want to make sure you are comfortable , enjoying your time ,and having fun ; we were treated like family. Food is delicious and very well presented, buffets are fun and delicious too. Love that is very eco friendly and organic. Spending sunset at the island bar every night was magical . For entertainment , kayaks, snorkeling, paddle board is always available for free. Other activities also like basket weaving, cooking , oh and the medicine walk is very interesting. The location is perfect, beautiful , cozy, romantic! The resort is very well taking care of , beautiful gardening. One of the Hammock’s net broke , and by the end of the day it was fixed without us having reported that morning. Pool is perfect option .for low tide. It’s a welcoming place for families and very safe . We loved this place , definitely recommend it , hope to be back in. The future .

Great resort with amazing staff , food was great, scuba diving excellent. What would have been even better if they had a kids club.
