We arrived at 6pm but did not get our room key till 10pm. My kid was super tired. Really not a good start for our holiday.

The staff here are amazing, especially Faith and Sera. The meals are lovely and kept hot, with good variety for breakfast and the buffet dinners. The cocktails are delicious and they can make whatever you want.
The pool is large and clean. Our only disappointment is the distance to get to other places for tours etc and the lack of a swimming beach.
Perfect for couples but lacks a little for children.

Great little resort that I would highly recommend for a short stay. Not a lot of eating options (Buffet or A La Carte only), but decent pricing for a Fijian resort. Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Less family orientated, so was a much quieter, relaxed vibe. Stayed in a bure which was worth the extra money. Cannot recommend this place enough. Photo's online don't do it justice! Beautiful property to walk around.

Service and staff were outstanding. Property is isolated with no eating options other than the resort facilities. Some aspects of the resort need renovation. The horse riding activity for kids was a standout especially the staff member who ran that who was excellent. Overall a very pleasant, relaxing, quiet place to stay and great for kids.

This property is visually appealing and looks nice with island vibes, the pool accommodates all kinds of swimming levels.
The property is rather run down and needs quite a bit love and attention to bring it up to Hilton 5 star standards it is marketed as. I would say 3 stars at most.
The staff are fantastic and very accommodating to your needs always laughing and singing.
The boat from the mainland to the island is never an issue and a highlight for the kids.
The one BIG let down we could not get past was the lunch and dinner options they are poor and not as fresh as they should be along with being very expensive. Being on an island with limited option it needs to be fresh and good quality.
The price of a bottle of water was extremely expensive, it is a must to stop at one of the 2 supermarkets on the way from the airport to the property.
Overall the rooms were nice and spacious and clean.

The Staff were lovely and friendly each time we approached them. The rooms were cleaned daily and a special message left each day. My family and I will be returning to double tree in the future.

Great hotel to stay with the family.
I have 2 kids and they loved the pool, the horse riding, the paintball, the sunsets and the staff.
You cannot go wrong with this hotel.

The staff were super helpful, amenities were great and the general atmosphere and vibe of the resort was amazing. The only thing that could improve is the hours of the kids club as only having 2 hours was not enough to be able to go and complete some activities. Overall though the resort was wonderful :)

Myself and son Grayson loved our stay at Double tree, I travelled alone with my son and the staff were always there to help me when needed. It was a beautiful quiet resort great for families and couples. I will definitely be back with my extended family in the near future. The only down fall was it wasn't very pram friendly alot of stairs to get up to our room and around the resort I would recommend more ramps to be added if possible.

LIKES
1/.The staff is absolutely lovely. Singing 'Isa Lei' to departing guests is very special
2/.flowers in the rooms. 3/.lovingly maintained gardens
4/ good bed and EXELLENT pillows!
5/ interesting cultural activity during the day.. ( you should include basket weaving!)
5/ some great cultural performances at night
CRITICISMS
1/. the constant heavy base in the music in the central area drove me insane after a while.
I like the choice of island style songs, they really enhance the location.. But the base setting is far too loud for me all day every day, in the pool, even could be heard in my room. Ok at certain times but turn it down in the morning and during dinner
2/ There was no information pack in my room. No ground plan of the premises, so you just have to wonder around to discover what might be there. and sometimes you don't find it, until the last day -or if another guest mentions it.
No mention of other attractions to visit.
3/.the room service menu does not mention the $7.00 surcharge (and a mysterious plate service fee)?? This is misleading.
4/ The buffet and breakfasts and pizza's are outstanding, but the a la carte menu is lacking in variety and vegetarian options.
The ceasar salad is soggily saturated with dressing , the chicken schnitzel not a success.
The sliders are good.
5/ There should be options or half serves for children on the menu
