Grant Hall Hotel

My hubby and I came in for an overnight as part of our vacation destinations. We checked in after doing some shopping in the city. Parked the car in the parking lot that was almost full, so we were fortunate to have found a spot. The check in was easy just provided id and a credit card. I'm guessing that I was charged upon check in because it was just for one night. We went to our room and found that the bed was quite firm,but pillows were very soft. Room was clean and comfortable. We went out for supper and then we went to the rooftop garden for drinks. We were happy to have to an outdoor space to sit and relax. My only concern was why children were permitted in a lounge area where alcohol is allowed. Other than that breakfast was very good, but short staffed and I noticed that some people were impatient. My husband and I felt bad and wanted to help. We will definitely be back soon and hopefully things will be better.
