Residence Inn by Marriott Regina

Hotel was what we needed for a stay with our three kids. The suite with kitchen was great to have to be able to cook some meals and store leftovers to save some cash. Pool was also good for the kids. Just don’t expect luxury. The hotel looks like it’s getting tired. The space is still pretty clean and well put together but repeated repairs are starting to show. A solid 7/10.

Needed to stay there for family in hospital

I was disappointed in the service at this hotel given it is a Marriot. Had constant issues with room key card to access the pool. Very noisy at night around outdoor firepit, staff allowed people to party in this area until late hours in evening despite their own rule against outside alcohol not being allowed. Called multiple times to have this rectified with no avail until I threatened to call police at 12:30 in evening. Breakfast in the morning was also a disappointment, no variety, same thing served every day and food was not that great. Had to request for our room to be serviced and we stayed 4 nights. Rooms are decent, well laid out and functional. pool is decent and adequate for kids. too bad the waterslide is only open for certain hours during the week (after 4pm). I have stayed at a number of different Marriott properties and service has always been very good but would not recommend staying here, its not in a great area of town, and service is subpar for using the Marriot name. Find another Marriot property to stay at if you want some decent service.

Room was spacious and quite lovely. Nice kitchenette made it feel like a mini apartment. Pool area was dirty. Pool over chlorinated but was otherwise enjoyable for the kids. Nice and warm! It really is a lovely hotel in a not so lovely location and without the vigilant upkeep that it requires.
