Hotel PUR Quebec, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Great hotel for families. Near Old Quebec area.

We did not feel incredibly safe walking near the hotel. The restaurant had wonderful service and looks out onto a beautiful church but many people were camped out, sleeping or begging near the church. It was very sad. We were told that there was valet available but no one was there the day we arrived so we parked across the street at a paid lot there. While the room was clean, many bulbs were burnt out and it seemed like every room on our side of the hotel looked out onto public toilets. The view from the pool was the same. My kids were very excited for the pool but I found it disappointed that quite frequently we would show up and bandaids or other garbage was floating in the pool. It wasn’t the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at but not one I would recommend. The next time we come we will stay somewhere else.

Pur is a chic and welcoming mid sized hotel with all the artful details to match your sophisticated side, while providing a gorgeous space for your children to relax - at a very fair price.

I will continue to stay at this hotel for business or on family trip! Very nice venue and staff!

Gym was really clean & great. Pool was ok, has 1-1.3 m depth, so almost for kids. The sauna room is big but the highest temperature wasn’t hot enough to sweat quickly. The restaurant was decent. The room is clean & functional, though during winter you need to humidity the air somehow for a better sleep. Despite all, I fully enjoyed the stay. Take advantage of early morning pool, sauna and gym.

Ok hotel for a visit to Quebec. Staff was helpful, but not outspoken. Sufficient amenities (swimming pool, parking) and food located in the city, next to pedestrian area with a lot of restaurants and shops. Room was ok for a family, size was ok, but there was some noise at night. All in all we had an ok stay here, but was not very special.

The service was very good and the team was very respectful even when they interact with our children.
