Le Capitole Hôtel

We stayed here recently with my in laws for a family trip. The proximity to restaurants and shops was really nice, especially with a toddler in tow. The staff was friendly, especially as the clubby bar. The rooms were super nice and comfortable. There was even a concert going on outside and we couldn’t hear anything from our rooms.

For an extended family with young children, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and safety of this property.

My husband, daughter, and I had a wonderful stay at Le Capitole Hotel. The staff is amazing. The valet are so friendly and kind. The front desk staff gave my 1 year old a teddy bear when we checked in and she loved it! They were so friendly and always smiling. My daughter loved seeing them when we would walk by. We got food from the restaurant on site twice, once was takeout and once we sat down. Our take out was excellent and they were so expedient when we sat for a meal which as parents with an impatient (yet well behaved) child, we greatly appreciated. The room was perfect and our view of the canons and Chateau Frontenac in the distance was amazing! We even saw fireworks from our room the first night. The pool was quiet and so refreshing. We had no issues with any sort of noise which is always a concern for me when staying in a hotel. I take off one star because there are two sets of elevators you have to take to get from your room to the street level which is a bit of a pain especially with a child but totally out of everyone's control (albeit important to note). This hotel is located in walking distance to pretty much everything in Old Quebec. We had such a lovely stay here and would absolutely return and recommend!!

Great hotel, location right next to the city wall of old Québec, friendly staff and high-end rooms, breakfast is served outside in a very nice setting (with heaters if required), hotel guests get a reduced rate (CAD 20) and kids were even free. Valet parking is a bit expensive (CAD 35 instead of the advertised CAD 30) but the breakfast deal made up for it.

The family found the stay truly delightful. Great place, location and amazing staff.
