We arrived at Westin at 5:30pm and our room was not ready. We had an appointment that evening and needed to refresh and change but instead they made us use lobby bathroom. They say it can take 5 minutes to an hour…we could wait so we went to our appointment. By 9pm , came back to check in again it was finally ready but our luggage was in the lobby storage and not in our rooms which they promised…not even a phone call to tell use it was ready…I’ve never encountered situations like this on all my bookings thru Expedia….i felt bad for my family for them having this experience….for the price I paid this is completely unacceptable.

Great location for walkability and exploring the city! Fun pool, cold plunge, sauna, jacuzzi. Decent parking options available around. Room was good but found long hair in my shower. Gross! And I let them know before that I was bringing x2 small dogs with me and they said they will provide bowls. However there were none in the room. At checkout I told the concierge and he said that something you should ask for even though I had email confirmation. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly hotel, go elsewhere. Otherwise a good location for families.

We have a great stay! Location is central to everything, making it walkable. Great gym, kids loved the pool. Very clean and comfortable.

This property is centrally located with many things to do. The property is clean but dated in furnishings. I am disappointed with the pool. It has limited chairs to sit in. Also, they over used chlorine to the point of my son and other kids leaving due to coughing badly. My son sustained what appears to be a chemical burn shortly after leaving it. I informed the front desk and they did not have first aid items to help and took time to gather ice from the restaurant. No manager came to check In.

Our visit didn’t start off great, as we arrived around 5pm to our reserved room not being ready. After an hour wait, the staff accommodated us with different rooms. Then the tv didn’t work. BUT. The staff is exceptional on all front. Fast and super friendly service, they are ready to help with anything you need. The food is excellent at the restaurant and the facilities are very kid friendly. Great stay we will be back for sure

absolutely infuriating experience. came from Massachusetts with two little kids. room wasn’t ready for hours well beyond check in time. Kids were miserable and exhausted and we had no where to go. We also booked this hotel because of the pool and I called to make sure the pool is open before we booked. When checking in, they told us the pool is out of service because they’re having some issues which set off the kids even more. Awful experience. Staff that checked us in was rude and short…

The location of Le Westin is fantastic. Close to bus routes and subway. Short walk to Old Port and old Montréal. Chinatown close by. Located right across the street from the convention centre. The hotel itself is pretty average. The pool is more of a lap pool and outdated, but kids will have fun in it regardless. I believe there used to be a bar on the 2nd floor that is no longer open. Housekeeping was very inconsistent. Some days early, other days very late in the afternoon. One day we were given several bath mat towels instead of actual towels, and toliet paper not replenished. We had to call down to get this rectified, which it was. The location is why i chose this hotel, and would probably choose it again just for this.

My request for an early checkin was granted and that set the trip off right. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The valet parking was great and efficient and given prices for parking I the area seemed very reasonable. Staff is as nice and polite, amenities were good, but busy. The pool was overrun with people and too small for such a frequented hotel. The hotel is “walkable” but with a young kid in tow was a bit challenging at times. Great for a one night stay, but wish the price was a little more affordable to make a place we could visit again or make it a longer stay.
