Hilton Montreal Laval

I stayed at the Hilton to attend my uncle's funeral. On Saturday morning around 9:30am while leaving the hotel to attend the funeral. I noticed that our vehicle that was parked in a parking space located in front of the hotel was missing. We immediately went to the front desk and where she called 911. The car was found and completely damaged on the inside and outside. I ended up missing the entire funeral. I stayed calm though out my stay until Sunday when Manouka, a staff , who works at front desk, came outside speaking about the theft and telling us that she hoped we enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. This is when I calmly expressed to her that this was the worst experience I had at the hotel and while I was talking Manouka walked away and said have a great day. I went back to my hotel room to get the rest of my belongings while my family waited in the car. I went back to the front desk to check out and asked to speak to manager, her name was Kelly Damal. I tried explained to Ms. Damal, Who didn't let me complete my sentence and Who already explained me to me that she knew the entire situation. I explained to her that as a person who has utilized Hilton for travel for years that this was the worst experience I had, she replied to me what else would you have want us to do for you? I expressed that they need further training in customer service, she then "apologized" by saying "I'm sorry but this happens everywhere, there's nothing we can do.

Great location, friendly staff and very clean. Was there for two nights with kids and grand-kids. Everybody enjoyed their stay.

Hand held shower head was way too high... Inaccessible. Hot water was a blue and cold was red(???) Why reversed from normal. Only 2 cups and 2 coffee for 3 people. Noisy kids running up and down. No receipt provided in paper or computer.

Old building and needed to go back down because room card was not working (with my baby and all the luggage)

Staffs were very professional and helpful. My family and I were comfortable and safe. Hilton is always the best !!!

Hilton Montreal Laval is a clean, quiet, and very convenient place to stay. However, I will never go back to this venue to give my money to very unprofessional people. In fact, people at the front desk need some training to cut off the condescending and arrogant behavior while dealing with customers. Although they could easily pronounce "Schwarzenegger" they butchered my name because they expect a right, Eurocentric last name, and would choke at any other name without apologizing. Furthermore, they made me wait for 1.5 hours to get to my room because it was not “ready”. In addition, I was given room keys that were not activated, and they blamed me for the fact that the keys could not open “The Club” were I was supposed to wait, and my room. Although I lost 1.5 hours that I would’ve used to enjoy my room at checking, my Internet access was cut off 45 minutes before the checkout time of noon. I won't recommend this hotel to friends, colleagues, and family.

The bed was comfortable and the room was kept well maintained and clean. On a separate note, you can hear kids running around the hallway...not sure if the entry door can be better insulated for noise.
