Stonecroft Inn

We have stayed here many times, along with other family members as well. The service had always been good and the rooms clean. Breakfast is OK but not great. Enough parking. This past visit, the room was uncomfortable at times because the AC unit could not deal with the outside temperature and humidity. We didn't address this with the hotel until after we left so that's on us. I wrote to the manager, detailing the situation: AC was on almost constantly and the exhaust fan, while working, was not at all adequate. The mirrors were fully fogged over and remained that way for quite a while after the showers were done (and the fan stayed on!). His reply to that email said that the AC should have been on and the exhaust fan is in good working order. But I had already addressed all that in my original note. So, I wrote back and said that I was clear in my first note so his reply was not really helpful as I had already done what he said the solution was. His second reply was more of the same. He did offer a 50% credit, in his first reply, on one night of a future stay, even though this past stay was two nights and previous ones (he may not have checked) were all two to four nights. He was prompt and polite but the answers were not helpful. His spin on this review will likely be different but the emails are very clear. He only answered with a solution that was the same as what I had already done and detailed in my original note.

Almost perfect for the staying. A very clean and cozy place for family trip. But the leaking of shower room base is fine.

A very clean inn. The bedding was comfortable. Bed sheets are soft. The only thing that affected me (not the rest of the family) was the noisy air conditioner. Otherwise great stay.

My family has been there for more than once. We will go back again.

This is our new go-to hotel in Windsor. This is our second stay here and it was every bit as good as the first. Lovely large king bed room with a massive bathroom, tiny kitchenette, table with chairs to eat at, comfy armchair to lounge in, etc. They've redone the breakfast room since the last time we were here and it's lovely. Breakfast isn't fantastic but it's what's advertised and just what you need to get your day going. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Already have a few more stays booked as our kid's a student in Windsor.

This is a lovely inn owned by the same family since the 1960s. It’s obvious they take great pride in it. I highly recommend this place.

Have stayed there a few times. went back because its quiet and clean. Sadly this last time was far from quiet ... kids hockey teams stomping down the halls, just hanging out in the halls like they were extentions of their rooms. Very noisy night. When asked how my night was i told them noisy due to the reasons just stated. they just shrugged it off. Could have probably slept in the car and got a more peaceful and restfull nights sleep. Normally zero complaints about the stone croft. My next trip to town sadly i will probably be looking into other options.

The location was convenient to the area we were going with many restaurants and a Walmart close by. Despite the renovation to the breakfast room and front desk areas happening during our stay, my family and I were very happy with our stay here. The rooms were nice and clean, beds and pillows were comfy, great wifi, and overall cleanliness. My only suggestion for improvement is cleanliness could be slightly better in the washroom. I just noticed the bathroom fan vents were dusty.

No high chair for children, no elevator, not many options for breakfast ( baggles, toast, cereal)
