The hotel for family’s does not have any options, since everything is within the casino side. Such poor planning. People under 18 can’t use the pool or access the majority of restaurants. Self park is also far, and requires walking on road or through casino.

Our hotel room was nice; clean, comfortable, and modern. But this is not a family hotel and should not have come up in my filters as one.
There is a pool but children are not allowed. There are restaurants and a food court inside but since kids can't go through the casino to get to them it's a pain to use them with a family. The kids were super disappointed with not being able to use a pool and I would never have thought that could be a condition in a "family friendly" hotel.
There are also several hidden fees ~$28 CAD for tourists which makes no sense and add to your stay cost. Self parking is free, just mind the height of your vehicle and take off any roof racks etc. We checked in at 14:00 and had to pay $45 CAD extra for this, even though the hotel was not busy and the room was ready. Totally unnecessary.
I will not be staying here again and do not recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with a young family

Very nice property, just wish you could take small children to the pool area.

We had a great stay at Caesars Windsor. We had a junior suite in the Forum Tower and the room was amazing - spacious, clean with a gorgeous view of the Detroit skyline. We would definitely stay here again!

Not a fantastic experience. If you haven't been here before there are very limited instructions on where to go for parking, hotel, etc. At 8 months pregnant we had to truck our 2 year old around the outside of the building in February because there is no indoor route to the hotel for those under 19. Also very limited options for food for those with children. Not family friendly as advertised...

It was very clean. Not all, but most of the staff seemed inconvenienced when we asked questions. We also booked in the Forum Towers but upon arrival we were sent to the side with children.

Didn’t realize kids are not allowed to use the pool or go to most restaurants so would not stay again.

Very nice hotel but don’t stay if you are traveling with children. No where on the website does it say anything about 5 of the 6 restaurants being in the casino so children can’t go. Also children can’t use the pool. When we checked in my 12 year old was with me and the person checking us in joked with my son about not going to the casino but never mentioned that he couldn’t go the restaurants or pool. It was just a bit disappointing and I would have saved money staying somewhere else.

despite calling earlier in the day to notify them of our late arrival, our room was given away. they found one last room to put us is but we had booked two queens and this only had a king and a pull out couch.
parking is far away and confusing with the casino attached there are limited ways to enter the hotel with
kids

Dislikes: the entertainment was not diverse enough, the hotel reservation & parking is a maze. The parking structure paint peeling, DJ ended way too early for a weekend. The club majority young crowd. I was never approached by waitress while gambling on machines, the riverwalk boring , no glitz outdoor building, lack activities. Likes: cafe food staff great, rooms beds clean comfortable, nonsmoking, . Recommend painting parking use colors, live entertainment diverse, DJ in common area stay late on weekends. have something exciting on riverwalk use the best natural area.have a club for older adults we not trying party with young kids different vibe & music. It was overall for me just average stay no reason to cross the boarder just for a quick getaway unless it’s for a concert and I’m not sure if I would stay overnight.
