Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Waterloo St. Jacobs

It was a nice place to stay for our great weekend getaway experience with the kids.

We have a family of 5 and its very hard to find a hotel room that will accomodate us all. The room at Hampton Inn was spacious with 2 Queen beds and a pull out couch. The bathroom was large, there was room for us to play cards and sit and have a snack in the nice little kitchen. For the breakfast, I have celiac disease and they had 3 types of bread I could select from as well as the staff helped me go through other food items to make sure they were safe for me with no gluten. I so appreciated it. This was a birthday trip for me and it was so nice and relaxing. We will be back for sure. Thanks kindly for a nice getaway that felt like we were at a resort.

We really liked having a pool as we traveled with a baby and it was hot out. So nice being walking distance to St Jacobs Market and across the street was a restaurant. The rooms are soundproof which again was great with a baby, plus black out curtains. Great complimentary breakfast! Would go back

I stayed 3 nights there with my husband and 7 yrs old son. We liked it a lot! Before going I saw some negative reviews which are so baseless. The staffs are good, complementary breakfast was very yummy, kitchen staff were great. We enjoyed indoor pool. everything was very good. Good for family outings. So please do not listen to negative comments. It should be a 3star hotel

Appreciated the breakfast! The kids liked the pool, but for some reason it seemed to get cooler later in the evening. I would have gotten in with them if it had stayed as warm as it was when we first checked it in the afternoon. :) Our room was neat and clean. The staff was smiling & friendly. I recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again.

Will definitely be back! Amazing staff and hotel. The girls at the morning breakfast made you feel so welcome and were so friendly to everyone and making sure to say hello to all. Such a great experience. On top of that the breakfast variety was overly impressive and in the time we were there the variety of the hot menu changed from eggs, potatoes and turkey sausages (which my family says were better than regular sausages surprisingly), but then changed the items to baked breakfast beans, and egg casserole bake and another item. Hotel was so clean and new. They have a bar with food items apparently but they are closed on Sundays. If you order skip the dishes you can eat in that seating area. All in all it was a great trip and my family agreed we’d be back based on that amazing different and up to date with the times continental breakfast! I read they revamped their menu a few years ago and they definitely did :)!

Enjoyed a nice family stay

Staff were WONDERFUL, from the front desk staff, to housekeeping, to the breakfast staff. All were pleasant and always eager to help. Rooms CLEAN, and well set up. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay for a family reunion.

Booked 2 rooms on hotels.com as i did in 2021. In 2021 we got adjoining rooms however this year we were put on 2 different floors and would not change it for us. Also other family couple did not get their room made up or replenished with towels.

Beds were definitely smaller than a standard queen, staff was cold. Check in was at 3, and not a minute before. So many people, babies, etc in the reception area. Then to be met with a cold front of house staff.
