Homewood Suites by Hilton North Bay

We were very disappointed with the fact that this property's pool is and apparently has been out of service for over a year. Many people would agree that a pool is a much expected amenity, when staying in a Homewood Suites. It is for my kids. I will not be staying here again.

I was visiting with my daughter, grandchildren and my dog! Super pet-friendly with a little treat bag for my pooch. The room was awesome with a great view of the lake (in winter sadly). I will definitely go back this summer when I return to visit my family.

When i booked the hotel, pool was listed as an amenity. When the kids and i showed up, it was not operational (and hadn't been for some time). I'm not sure if this was their error or hotels.com, but i never would have booked had i known.

Very nice and clean place. People are so nice. We spent 3 days there during Thanksgiving. It was rainy outside. Lucky that we booked this hotel which had kitchen inside the room. The room was so big and comfortable. And we spent time in the gym during those days. Food was good! Love this hotel! Great for family! My daughter said that we have to book this hotel when we are coming to North Bay

The kids were really excited to use the pool, however we booked through Expedia and there was no warning that the pool was closed (staff explained there was a notice on the website). They did, however, let us use the pool at their sister hotel (about a 7 minute drive away).

Very short walk to the waterfront where there is an excellent beach and playset. If you have kids, take them to the beach!

We love that this hotel is clean and close to the beach, parks and carousel for the kids. In a good area with an nice coffee shop just around the corner. The breakfast provided is really great!

The rooms were clean and well maintained. Accessibility to the beach and marina was fantastic. My grandchildren had the time of their life!!! Only gave a 4 star for property because the indoor pool was closed. And 4 stars for the area around the property because there was essentially nothing memorable, no gardens or patio, exceptional location if you want close proximity to the beach, and walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants.

Clean, well maintained hotel with friendly staff. Located very close to the shore of Lake Nipissing. We had a great view of the lake from our 6th floor room. Stayed over the Canada Day weekend and only a 5 minute walk to the pier nearby to see the fireworks show. Pool was closed for repair during our stay for repairs. Very pet friendly as we saw many people with their dogs. Hot breakfast and choices were good. Breakfast area is understaffed. The 2 ladies handling the breakfast area were trying their best to prepare the food, keep the food and eating utensils replenished and clean up the messes in the breakfast serving area for the many guests. They seemed overwhelmed and barely able to keep up with the demand, yet we’re always very courteous despite looking visibly frustrated. Please hire more staff for the breakfast area. Otherwise a good stay. Great for families with small children.

We always feel like we returned home when staying here! The kids loved the fresh cookies on arrival, and we love the spacious rooms.
