Oceanstone Seaside Resort

I wouldn’t call this a resort. It’s more of a group of cottages, one of which they turned into several individual rooms. The furnishings were nice shabby chic. Wifi worked fine. That is about the only good thing about my stay. When I walked in the windows were open, probably to let the breeze in, but it also let in bugs. The curtains barely fit across the windows and left gaps. Since this room my room was right on the drive, this was a concern. There is a room above the one I was put in that has wooden floors. I could hear every step that the people above me made, including what I’m guessing was a child running back and forth. Anytime they used water or the toilet, the water loudly rushed through the pipes in my walls. The listing said that there was supposed to be a coffee maker in my room, which I would have loved when I woke up early to see sunrise. No one told me that the coffee maker was a shared one down a back hallway until I mentioned it at check out. I wish I had kept my reservation elsewhere instead of booking at this “resort”.
