Cambridge Suites Hotel

Lovely hotel off of the citadel in walking distance of the boardwalk and all attractions. A couple blocks from the Rogers center. Overall it was exactly what we needed as a family of 3 . It was exceptionally warm this weekend and the hotel felt warm and humid. Breakfast was not at the level, could use some variety and perhaps a meat option (bacon or sausage maybe)

Beautiful hotel and great location, being centrally situated in downtown and close to the Citadel. Our family staying at a place with clean and comfortable beds in beautiful Halifax.

Loved the breakfast offered and your family rooms were great for a larger group.

The room was great, spacious, clean. Was there for my son’s hockey and the kids had a great time. No complaints other than the mattress needs to be replaced. There was a big dip in the mattress

I will have to say that my two night stay at this hotel was very disappointing and I will be canceling my upcoming nights that I have booked for next competition. I have so much to say - much of which I was going to explain during checkout however the lady who "checked me out" didn't even ask how our stay was. I was over it at that point and wanted to leave asap. To start, this is the loudesd hotel I have ever stayed at. Not just the kids running up and down the hotel banging on doors but the fact that I could hear every time other rooms flushed their toilets, washed their hands, etc. My room alarm clock was set for 6am but someone other then myself. This was my on sleep in day but my daughter and I were abruptly woken up at 6am and were unable to get back to sleep. The housekeepers stood outside my door for almost two hours chatting this particular morning. That night at 11PM my daughter and I had just fallen asleep after a long day when we were once again awoken, this time by someone using a carpet cleaner on the carpets in the hallway!! 11PM! Then followed by men arguing in that same area. Some of which who were staff, a manager included. I have videos of all of this with time stamps if needed. Lastly, I paid $57.50 for parking. There was ONE spot left and it was a spot so small that nobody could fit in it...that would be why it was available. It was extremally stressful. I have so much more I could add but I will leave it there. Will not stay again,

Last minute reservation for Hal-Con 2023, for the kiddos. Staff was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Fantastic breakfast, only wish I had set at a table to know I could have ordered bacon for $5

We loved the breakfast. It was delicious and lots of variety of food to chose from. Will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family.

The hotel was conveniently located to local historic sites, the waterfront, shops and restaurants, so that we were able to park our car in the hotel garage and walk everywhere. The staff was courteous and friendly and the rooms ware large, had a fridge, sink and microwave. We will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

I booked the most expensive suite hoping to have room for my family to spread out. The room faced an outdoor nightclub which was still going strong at 12:30 am on a Sunday. The hotel windows did not provide for any soundproofing. We were shown another room on the same side of the building that was just as noisy. I asked for a room on the other side of the building, but the staff said all the room types I booked were on the noisy side. Seeing as it was very late, we settled into a rather small, old and worn room which was on the quiet side of the building. We moved to a different hotel the next morning. The staff did what they could considering the time and circumstances. I was somewhat miffed when a staff member named Carlo said they did not have any pillows for the sofa bed because "the hotel was full." We knew for a fact there were at least 2 empty large rooms available as we were shown them. Eventually a pillow came. Thankfully the hotel gave me a refund for my "non-refundable" rate. I am thankful for that. I would call ahead if booking a room to ask about the location before booking.
