Sandman Hotel & Suites Winnipeg Airport

Was a good place to stay. Convenient location to Polo Park and Route90 out of the city. Was there to drop off family who live in the city.

A recent stay was for a family visit to see my nephew and his young children. The hotel allowed them to enjoy their visit by using the swimming pool. We were the only ones using it and the hot tub and after had a bite at Denny's who have a very extensive menu as well as a senior and ample children's menu. A very enjoyable stay with my vehicle parked virtualyy right outside the door. Definitely would come again.

It was pretty good. Room was a decent size for me and my family of 4. Wish the pool was bigger but the kids sure enjoyed their stay. Kids loved it, Denny’s is just right there. Me and my wife thought it was an okay stay.

Suite was nice. They had a complimentary baby bed which was nice.

Good stay. Rooms very clean and quiet. Busy hotel but very pleasant stay. Nice that it is connected to a good family restaurant. Staff were all very friendly.

Before all else, the staff at the Sandman is top notch. This cannot be overstated - most welcoming, accommodating and genuine. My son and I shared an executive suite for 4 nights. No issues - wifi was strong, room was clean, amenities were as promised. We appreciated the morning coffee bar and apple :) Both Denny's and CHOP Steakhouse were as good as can be for the type of cuisine but again, most outstanding was the service. Friendly Manitoba indeed. The only hiccup was that the pool was closed on night one for maintenance which is a bitter pill for a little kid but it was perfect and super clean the remainder of our stay. Absolutely recommend if you need a place to hang your hat for a few days but you don't need too much by way of frills. Sandman over delivers. Would absolutely stay again :)

The property was clean and staff was very friendly. Comfortable beds. Hot water in bathroom sink had no pressure. The doors around the property we always jamming up and at times hard to open. The pool was pretty disappointing. I wouldnt recommend for families. Its an extremely small pooland pool area. Only 2 chairs at the pool side, they probably can squeeze two more in there.

Our family stayed here for one night before leaving on vacation. I tried to save a bit of money and stay here as the online price was good. I will not make this mistake again. The hotel has a nice lobby but the rooms are run down. The air conditioner did a great job taking the room temperature from 25 degrees when we arrived, to 23 degrees when we left. It was so loud that we couldn’t fall asleep. I have learned my lesson - you get what you pay for. I will not be staying here again.

This used to be our go to hotel, but lately we just been staying at other hotels. We booked a room for a family vacation and these rooms were small no microwaves or refit mini refrigerators and the air conditioning. Unit beeped really loud before it kicked in and woke everybody up all night.

Staff Fabulous...Bed moderately soft and clean. shower curtain dirty at bottom. Room coffee poor. Hot tub Luke warm. 2 kids left unattended in the pool and expectoration into the swimming pool.
