Holiday Inn Express Winnipeg Airport - Polo Park, an IHG Hotel

Very polite and respectful, clean & just very welcoming and polite respectful employees! Breakfast was good and was well worth it kids loved it loved the pool! We will definitely be going back again!

We had a great time. We stayed here as we were visiting family and the stay was perfect. Breakfast that was supplied was great.

Lots of stuff to do around the hotel only complaint would be the kids screaming and running the halls after midnight can hear everything in these rooms

The pool in the hotel needs fixing. Lots of broken tiles on edges which may cause cuts especially to kids. Coffee machine was not working at all.

Great place for family stays.

The stay was OK. The facilities and property was fine. However we ordered a shuttle to the airport for 7am. It is worth mentioning we are travelling with a very young baby and had to get to the airport early to negotiate a few things. As it turns out someone else ordered a shuttle for the exact same time and rather than informing us the night before so we could choose to leave earlier, they left without us despite arriving on time. This significantly impacted us negatively as we had to wait for a cab and got to the airport later than planned, which made everything unnecessarily stressful.

Booked a room for 4 on June 22, 2023 with a king bed and a double sofa bed. Check in was easy and staff were great. Room was a nice set up and appeared to be clean but quickly discovered that the carpet was in fact not cleaned well. Had a swim with the family, pool was a nice escape from our long day. Not a huge deal but the room only had two shower towels, asked for more and the wait was fairly long. Pull out sofa was dirty under the cushions and the mattress was warm out and very uncomfortable. No comforter provided for the pull out, only one thin blanket but staff did bring a comforter on request. Glass blocks in the living space allowed tonnes of light to enter the room which was not welcomed for proper sleeping with not blinds. Smoke alarms were present but were over due for replacement in 2021…2 years past due. Exit sign in the pool area was not maintained and several fire rated doors were wedged open, lack of care for fire safety from my eyes and professional expertise. Brought all the above items to the attention of the staff and was simply advised to write this in my review, not offer to compensate our stay. Upon the morning of check out (stayed one night) I discovered we were double charged, spoke to staff about this and it appears there is some glitch in the system and we were advised this would be corrected. Time will tell if this is true as it’s fairly confusing with all the transactions my credit card is notifying me of. My review being cut short

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was regular hotel buffet fare, but we got down there when it opened so was at least fresh. My grandchildren enjoyed the pool. Very accommodating for the airport shuttle. I'd definitely recommend for an airport hotel.

Unsafe parking area even though they have security it didn’t stop those thief from breaking our van window and stealing our stuff. Security should have access to cctv to monitor suspicious person lurking in the area otherwise their cctv is useless if a crime has already happened before they ask to review the footage.Safety is very important especially I’m travelling with my kids.

This hotel is very clean, staff always cleaning and it shows. The beds were a bit uncomfortable but nothing unbearable at all. Rooms included everything you’d need and were nicely updated and clean. Nothing over the top, but great budget hotel. Pool was clean and great set up for younger kids with a splash park
