I was very please with my room.Just had a baby in the next room which every hour was crying, from 8 pm to 12 midnight, and started again at 5:30.I think at the hotel staff should be aware of children next door to some one who as no children.

The property was clean and staff at front desk was efficient and professional the restaurant was lacking chef gave away my order and expected me to wait long then usual which I ended up cancelling very disappointing. The kids enjoyed the buffet menu items hard to acquire for dinner.

The gym was fantastic. Unfortunately there were some issues with the elevators so at times we were down to 1 working one. Food was decent, staff friendly and accommodating. The bed and linens were super comfortable and definitely invited naps. Housekeeping was great. The pool would have been fine but for the number of toddlers in the hot tub. Would love to see an adults only hour between 10-11pm or something so we could have relaxed at the pool. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at the HI Winnipeg South many times and will continue to do so in the future. It is reliable, comfortable, family friendly, and yet relatively quiet. Its great for fun family weekends, or simple romantic getaways. This Holiday Inn easily lives up to (or exceeds) its 3 star rating.
