Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brandon

Well i got this hotel for the laundry room but they first said key was out, (which they said come back any time) then said they closed it come back tomorrow morning, then said it was not open. Not impressed. It was nice being beside the arcade for my kid. I also think all the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were same and i am not sure if dove. They all smelled and looked identical.

Liked the continental breakfast and the kids had fun swimming in the pool and kiddie pool.

Was all good other than the elevator stopped working so had to use stairs which was inconvenient with small children and medical issues

Great stay - comfortable beds. Very nice pool area - would be great for kids. Super breakfast.

My family booked two rooms and had a great stay. The staff, starting from the front desk on, were so genuinely friendly, helpful, we felt so comfortable from the moment we walked in. Everything in the hotel is very convenient, well laid out, and stress free. I appreciated as well the small second floor seating area open, to the lower level. The breakfast area was wonderful, with many great seating options from window to fireside seating creating an open but warm feeling. Add plug in parking and complimentary ice scrapers at the front desk and we left well rested and smiling :)

Our stay was great. Didn’t mind the kids playing but the woman yelling at them wasn’t nice. Kids will be kids. Had a good sleep on a very nice bed. We slept in both days so we didn’t get to have the breakfast because it was so comfy.

The pool & hot tub were so dirty it was disgusting. The room was clean, however the shower knob was filled with black mold. There were kids running up and down the halls. We had to complain twice. If you are looking for a clean quiet hotel to lay your head this is not the place.

This hotel was just fine in terms of property cleanliness and amenities. The staff were all fantastic! And the breakfast we pretty good with lots of variety, both hot & cold options, fruit, good coffee, comfortable seating area, etc. I did not use the pool or workout facilities, although the gym area was limited to 4 or 5 machines with no free weights. My complaints would be that it is quite far away from other parts of Brandon, being at the far South end of the city. Brandon isn't very big, so it's not a huge issue, but it could still be something to consider if you're a family with kids looking to do stuff downtown or check out the river/walking trails. Also, the bed was a bit hard, and I had a bit of trouble sleeping. It wasn't painful, though. The room and bathroom were a bit dark, with only two dimmer lamps in the bedroom area. In the bathroom, the shower is cut into the far wall from the light fixture, meaning once you pulled the curtain it was pretty dim. Lastly, the walls were pretty thin. I could hear the guy snoring in the next room, and I could hear the conversations between the couple and their kids. Luckily, they didn't stay up late, otherwise sleep would have been hard. The area itself seems safe enough, although there is a games/pizza place next door. Might be good for kids, but there is also a VLT area and a lounge, so also not great? I should also note that the screen in my window had ripped away from the frame on one side, so no leaving it open.

Although the room was all paid for we were still forced to pay additional fees and damages deposit. They have my cc on file so why run up my card even more before I even checked in. Room carpet stained and unclean. Bathroom very small for an upgraded room. Curtains blocked the a/c. Pool was small and full of children. Didn’t bother staying for the inclusive bfast. Took 4 days to get deposit reversed.
