Best Western Plus Moosomin Hotel

Convenient place for us to stop on our way to Winnipeg. Rooms are clean, it's super nice to have a kitchenette in the basic rooms and their continental breakfast is decent. It's also really nice they leave basic snack foods out all day. The workers their are all pleasant. The Manager is VERY charismatic and great with kids. Their pool, though, really needs a good scrubbing. Also if we didn't have a sounds machine running in our room at night I don't think I would have been able to sleep much with how loud the trains were when they went by blowing their horns.

A nice highway hotel but the pool and hot tub were closed when we drove through on July 13, and we had disappointed kids in the car. Just wanted to let travellers know if this is a priority for you book direct with the hotel instead of online like we did to make sure facilities are open. Also there was a sports team staying there who had a party in the lobby that was quite loud until 10 PM, and carried on afterwards with parents. Not to knock a good team event, but the sound carried down the hall to our room and with our young kids made or stay overall not great. If you stay here - try to get an upper floor.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and family friendly. You can have a hot breakfast.

Excellent stay. Husband was working in town, myself and baby came to enjoy the hotel for the weekend. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. There was a blizzard/ highway closures/ power outage during our stay and the staff were professional and welcoming despite the circumstances. Pool was warm and every time we went to use it we were there by ourselves. Highly recommend this hotel, will be booking it again for my husband's work trip next month.
