Park Place Lodge

Our first time staying here and we would definitely stay again. Staff were fantastic and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The kids loved the quirkiness of the pool in the middle of the hotel.

Really nice property but tough to have the pool central to rooms as kids were playing in pool and were always told to be quiet so ask for rooms not around that area if you want more quiet

The hotel itself seems nice. However we stayed for 2 nights with a toddler & from 7.30-10pm every night there were kids in the pool screaming the entire time. It was hard going getting out little one to sleep. I’m all got kids having fun, but when the rooms are all centred around the pool, people should have some respect for other guest staying there and staff should enforce some rules. We made sure our toddler had fun in the pool but wasn’t loud and we made sure she enjoyed it at a time that people were not winding down for the day. If you stay on the 3rd floor you maybe lucky to avoid any noise from the pool area. We were on the second floor. Unfortunately the parents had no control over the kids and staff didn’t seem to care that other guests were complaining. Breakfast was ok, they had some hot and cold items to choose from. Room in itself was good, beds comfy, pillows were horrible way to puffy, my neck was sore each morning. Overall good spot to enjoy some time on the mountain. Would consider elsewhere with a separate area for the pool next time. we’ve stayed in other hotels with atrium pools and never had this experience before.

Was a great property and i totally recommend it for everyone! Especially families. Breakfast was really good, the rooms were nice and clean. Thanks for having us!

We loved the pool and especially the comfortable lounge chairs around it. It was great for the kids. Def recommend for family.

Convenient location, parking at the front door and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a very helpful attendant. We did not use the pool area but it looked like it would be great for families.

Park Place Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. The room was over the top. Two Queen very nice comfy beds with pristine linens Bathroom was the same. Fluffy towels and nice big tub. I would stay here again and will recommend it to my family and friends

The hotel room was so nice. The front desk staff was very helpful. One of the staffs in the bistro, I believe that it is Maria, was an exceptionally amazing person to serve us. The location was very convenient to walk to many restaurants and shops. Our family had a great time staying there.

Cons: I understand the concept behind the courtyard pool and hot tub area, but unfortunately the noise transfer into our room was unbearable at times. Hotels sell sleep and that was tough for us to unwind after 900pm. Other guests sitting on the couches drinking booze and talking about inappropriate subject matters was disappointing to listen to for my kids - not the hotel's fault, but still it was like those other guests were in our room.
