Days Inn & Conference Centre by Wyndham Cranbrook

Nice basic family property. Affordable, clean, breakfast included and the courtyard / pool area would be lovely for families with children in the summer.

The listing said the beds are a queen size they are actually only a double. The beds in the rooms are uncomfortable and inadequate especially the pull out couch it’s just all springs. The front desk seemed overwhelmed and it was just a single person trying to check in 4 families. The pool was nice.

My kids and I checked into the hotel at 11pm. They said that there was someone in my room. Their stuff was in it, but not the person. Long story short, there was no room for us. However, after about 45 minutes, they found another hotel close by, and paid for that stay. So that was nice and appreciated.

This hotel was pleasant surprise. The outside looks dated, but the rooms inside were nicely updated. The pool area was soaking wet (not sure if there was a storm the day before) so all the seating was wet. The breakfast was decent, but they had a news channel that was inappropriate for kids on the TV in the breakfast room with several children in the room.

We booked because we just needed a bed for the night, it was a nice surprise. It was quiet, the breakfast was nice, The pool was taken over by a kids sport team but we got a good 20 min before they took the pool over. We will be back!

Insane amounts of noise from sports teams and unsupervised kids running wild all over the halls. Hotel just doesn't want to try and control the situation. I guess the income from teams is worth more than the comfort of their guests. Teams always make noise, but this ... this was a whole new level of noise and chaos.

We have ordert beds for 4 adults and 1 child of 15 years There were only beds for 4 adults So We had no sleep that night We want our money back The reception want not to help us

This is a top notch hotel in Cranbrook. The breakfast buffet was amazing with so many choices including: bacon, sausage, potatoes, eggs, pancakes, fruits, oatmeal, breads, toast, muffins and yogurt. They have apple, orange, cranberry juice and water available at the buffet. They have coffee with flavoured coffee creamer available all day as well as at the buffet. There is a game room with arcades for the kids and a beautiful reception area. They staff were extremely accommodating. They have an outdoor pool - so don’t forget the swimsuits when it’s hot out! The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a great stay and will 100% stay there again when in town.

Cleaning wise not good. Other customer disturbed you if you have kids with you.

The hotel is beautiful when you walk in and the common areas are well kept. However when it comes to the pool, Wyndham discount, continental breakfast and cleanliness of rooms it’s rather disappointing. The pillows on the beds are ancient and lumpy, the shower and tub were covered in mildew, the mirror on the wall at the entry was falling off, the bathroom mirror is so scratched that even if it was actually clean you couldn’t tell. The website states their outdoor pool is up and running come April - well they had no intention on having that up and running until June. The breakfast was supposed to have an omelet station and fresh waffles - as stated in the welcome binder - and there was neither. Unfortunately our family has a few food restrictions and so that made breakfast a tad more difficult. Expect egg patties, pork sausages/bacon, chunky hashbrowns, pancakes, Kelloggs cereals and toast/bagles and oranges.
