Best Western Plus Fernie Mountain Lodge

Our first few interactions were with Jerica (front desk), who is the loveliest human. She was friendly and professional, ran up herself to make sure our room was ready, and then called after to check on our satisfaction. We happened to come during pool maintenance, and she was very kind about it, making sure to tell us about our hot tub options while offering our disappointed kids cookies, which totally saved the day! We saw active cleaning everywhere, and our room itself was very nice. Grabbing dinner from the attached Boston Pizza was very convenient. In the morning, we were surprised to see an excellent breakfast spread including hot items, cereals, baked goods, yogurt, and juice. The checkout staff were also very friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

This hitel would get a much better rating if the mattresses were replaced. The beds are absolutely awful. When we travel to ski, a good bed is so important or nobody gets the rest they need. We had 3 terrible sleeps (even my children coulsnt get comfortable). The room is a nice size, and I liked the outdoor hot tub option since the indoor one was way too loud with the echo from kids in the pool.

Best place to stay in the town. Absolutely loved the facility and distances to all amenities around....super family friendly.

This would have been a perfect 10 rating. The only reason it’s not was the internet (Wi-Fi issue). There’s no internet connection in our unit for some reason. This is very important especially when you have two kids. We have to go out of the room to connect to the internet. I contacted the front desk at 7:00 PM on the day we arrived about the issue and I have been told the they don’t have anyone available to fix the issue. So, I advise her to make a note for the day shift the next day. I have waited until 10:00 AM the next day and no one came in to address the issue. So I sexy to go in person at the front desk. Unfortunately, the front desk that night didn’t make a note to the next shift. So I requested to have it fixed. And the person at the desk assured me that they will fix the internet. Even then, the whole day we were out nobody came in to fix the issue. I contacted front desk again and I was told no one is available. Two night of stay with no internet! Very disappointing! It would have been better at least someone came in to check and say, sorry I couldn’t fix it. For this reason, I will never again stay in this hotel.

It was amazing! It was so clean. The staff were so kind and friendly. My child really enjoyed his stay and if he could live in the pool, he would! He was happy as can be!
