What a unique hotel experience. We were able to go to the pool and spend time with our kids during the day and evening and then the pool area became a dance floor to an amazing nightclub experience. Hands down such a great experience especially for our new legally adult child that we were able to go out with in the night into to the early morning hours! Oh and the cart lady that came by to our room in case we needed anything was just simply amazing!! We didn’t need anything but we got candy and it was just so cool!

Absolutely amazing hotel. Not sure I would recommend it for a family, as the ambience and shared businesses might not be ideal for children, but for lone adults or couples this is an incredible place to stay. The location is perfect: near malls and shopping streets and the enormous Stanley Park. Within walking distance of a plethora of restaurants, grocery stores, massage therapists, cafés, gyms and more. The city's downtown feels very pleasant and safe at all hours, even at night, allowing you to focus on enjoying the Vancouver nightlife, including this hotel's very own nightclub. It is situated on one of the major streets, and thus gives you easy access to buses, trains, and bike rentals. The hotel also offers a gym, a pool, a hot tub and a fantastic restaurant, all without needing to step a foot outside. The cost is on the higher end, but in my opinion the services and peace of mind they offer are worth that price.

Great location, beautiful rooms and pet friendly! As a family of three (including our teenage son), the Paradox was a perfect hub for us to explore downtown Vancouver. We also brought our Bernese Mountain dog; she was welcomed at the hotel and provided dog bowls, a bed and treats. Wonderful experience for all!

Great location as you have a lot of dining options inside and around the hotel. It’s clean and the rooms are nice. Overall it’s pretty quiet for it having a night club inside. Only thing is if you stay on a weekend you will be seeing different types of people in the lobby that were attending the nightclub/lounge. Not something I would recommend if you have kids.

Our family’s annual Christmas staycation was amazing! The Paradox’s Hotel was beautiful!! The best part of our stay besides the great food Karma and DT has to offer was the service we received as soon as we walked into the hotel!! Everyone of the staff was always ready to answer any questions and made sure we were always taken care of!! All our requests with our 4 daughters were met!!! Keep up the great work…we will surely be back!!!!

Overall the experience at Paradox was great. It would be good to have a breakfast buffet instead of room service only, and also a bit more generous portions. Also the bathroom didn't have a towel hanger. And more importantly, the bathroom was not private at all. It didn't have a lock, and it had a see-through glass that was letting people from the bedroom see whoever was taking a shower, which is not ideal for families.

Third time we have come to Paradox. Staff treats us like family, spa was worth every penny, food in the lounge very tasty, and so close to the water. Thank you for the bottle of wine 💋♥️
