Holiday Inn Express & Suites Langley, an IHG Hotel

This was a great place to stay. The only issue was the walls were too thin and I could hear my neighbors kids laughing and goofing off till early mornings.

Pool is great for kids.

Very clean and good for family vocations.

Central to family and hockey tournament in Langley. Lots of family style restaurants in area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel prepared and welcoming with our small dog traveling with us. Very strict pet policy, know before you book.

The layout of this hotel makes it easy! Our room was on the first floor, so breakfast in the morning was just a couple doors down. Speaking of breakfast - awesome! Something for everyone, and the "pancake robot" is brilliant. Fast tasty, entertaining to watch! Quick, easy access down a few steps to the pool, fitness, etc. The only part of our experience that gave me pause was the pool. We arrived and saw two bins of toys, floaties, etc. Our kids started helping themselves and enjoying. Few minutes later, a man collected them and said that he'll be using them at the deep end. My kids and I were confused. Then a group of kids arrived with a woman directing them. Turns out it was a group swim lesson taking place right there in the pool. I'm all for learning how to swim, but it's not really what I'd expect at a small hotel, and would have been a much better experience if we would have at least known what was going on, instead of simply having toys taken away from us without a clear explanation. Love the holiday inn, we'll be back!!

The employees were lovely. We have a toddler who wanted to use the pool a lot but every time we went there were randomly swimming lessons (?) so we felt like we were a bit in the way and couldn’t really utilize it: wouldn’t be back because of that.

Staff is friendly, the hotel itself and our room was clean. Kids had fun swimming although there was swimming lessons being given at the same time my kiddos were swimming. If I had known, I could’ve came at a different time since it felt very awkward having that happen and the parents standing around watching. Even my children felt weird about it. Overall the location was nice being around everything. We would come back again but maybe needing to know the time if swimming lessons were happening.

The pool area not clean...used dirty bandages in and around the pool and hot tub, hot tub jets were not working properly. Last time we were there the pool was being used for swimming leasons so we were unable to use it. I appreciate the size of the family room but wont be coming back.

Sauna, jacuzzi and pool were the best part of our stay. We had such a great time relaxing. But then in 6am our neighbours on top of us woke up. Please, don’t put big families with dogs on top floors. Think about people below. Morning was ruined, even delicious breakfast could not fix it. But then we called front dest and asked for late check out so we can sleep in at least a little and they said YES. Thank you so much for that.

We were a party of 5 in a family suite. I enjoyed my 2 nights here! Room was modern, clean, spacious & bright. I can’t sleep with A/C on so I appreciated windows that opened (they could probably use some screens though). The sofa bed was not comfortable, however, for our kids. The mattress should be replaced as it’s very thin & the springs could be felt. The Keurig coffee maker didn’t heat up the water adequately, so that should get checked. We were grateful our stay included a more extensive breakfast than the usual muffins & coffee. The family loved that were several options on the self serve hot buffet. It was tasty & so convenient. The staff was lovely & friendly. The pool & hot tub were adequate & enjoyed by our kids & us adults. I would definitely stay here again either alone or with my family!
