Billy Barker Casino Hotel

The male staff member who checked us in was curt to the point of rudeness. We were not welcomed nor told about any of the hotel's amenities. Think his sentences were, 'Name?', 'Need to fill in this' and 'Child's full name?'. The hotel was not busy, yet they placed us in a room right above a massive air handling unit that was so loud it was like sleeping above a semi (with window closed and tv on). The employee requested our child's full name and spelling, which was a first and seemed inappropriate for check in purposes (never asked this for our child before). Room seemed clean, but smelled. Will not stay here again and cannot recommend.

I arrived after 10pm and the check in clerk was very friendly, kind, and quick. Made check in short and sweet, which was great for me after a long day of driving. The room was great, clean and comfortable. It's not a ritzy place but i would most certainly stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

I was booked for 2 nights with my family, we had a emergency to deal with and had to check out early after one night .i talk to the gentleman at the front desk and informed him we were checking out, and would note it on the computer....and was charged 2 night's and no recorded of me checking out. Poor customer service and management!

We have family in Quesnel and we are never dissapointed in our stay. We usually get a suite. They are lovely and economical. We are close to everything we need. You can walk around town for anything you need.
