Courtyard by Marriott Prince George

We were here for two days, just on a family trip, and we were so happy with everything. The people at the desk were so friendly, our room was great, and all the service was first class. I would stay here again.

Decent sound proofing, was a wedding party the night we stayed, was a little bit noisy but that’s expected for what was going on… had to walk around the front to be let when we arrived as I wasn’t buzzed in from the rear entrance due to not being checked in yet. Decently comfy bed… the pull out couch was a little sketchy for our toddler to play around… although the area is not so nice the few amenities make up for it and the basic wifi was more then enough to work from and stream.

The room itself was nice and clean. Pool area was great. My main issue was how noisy the room was and not being able to sleep. The first morning I was woke up at 6am with constant jumping and thumping on the floor that went on for hrs. I assume children jumping off tbe bed upstairs. Saturday evening on our return to the room is was shaking and vibrating to lound bass noise booming from the banquet room below. The staff seemed unable or unwilling to do anything about the excessive noise. This ruined my ability to get any sleep. We asked the front desk to move us but were told it was completly sold out. Not sure I believe this as the hotel is massive. This hotel needs to figure out if its a place for customers to have a quiet place to sleep or a party place for weddings and banquets. I dont think the 2 are compatable. The hotel seemed badly managed on all levels.

Super easy to check in. Should have life jackets or floaties or something cuz your pool is not kid friendly. The bistro had excellent french fries but something was spicey in my mac and cheese. Had my mouth on fire so i couldnt enjoy the flavour of the sauce which was excellent once my mouth got over the heat
