The Rimrock Resort Hotel

Everything is excellent. Superb service nice location. Best scenic view from room. Cozy room. Only one thing is missing microwave in room. Overall it was a nice experience for three days family vacation.

Rimrock is at a location which is worth opting for your trip. It was close to few hotspots and at a good elevation. Room was a little smaller but still worth it for 3 people. Service was impeccable! We didn't get a No for our requests. There are facilities for all ages. Highly recommend it. It had the feeling of luxury, great view from the room and dining hall, quiet, kid-friendly and certainly Great value for our money.

We were very excited to stay at the Rimrock with our family. I wanted my kids to experience a luxury hotel and what 5-star service is like. I have stayed at this property before and always had an exceptional stay. This time was different. Our check in experience was less than satisfactory - despite booking a room with 2 queen beds, we were assigned a room with one bed (twice) - despite the front desk agent acknowledging there were four of us in the room. It did not seem to register that something might be off. Finally, we got assigned a proper room after I had to prove my reservation through Hotels.com indeed booked me a room with 2 queens. We had drinks in the Larkspur lounge while we waited and despite it not being busy, the service was terribly slow. There were other little things that created frustration throughout our stay - though staff were always pleasant. While I was disappointed that my family did not have the experience I had built it up to be, I would probably stay there again, though I may try Fairmont Banff Springs to see the difference.

I booked an obstructed view room and I ended up getting a beautiful mountain view. My family even saw a deer outside our window. This property and staff are top notch. The service was outstanding!

I picked this hotel primarily because of price - to me it was a fair deal, all things considered. However, from the moment I drove up to the hotel entrance, my wife and I could feel this is a different hotel. The staff - their smiles, their manners, and their helpfulness is just top notch. We felt they take pride in their work - they work there because they want to be there, and it felt really good. We saw quite a few tour buses dropping off customers, and we did not see too may kids running around. We had breakfast there once and most of the clients there were older than us. The gym, pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room, everything is clean. I think these are things that will help people make decisions on whether to stay in Rimrock. Personally, I felt I made a fantastic choice.

I found the hotel to be in need of an overall cleaning and update. The carpets are worn and dirty. I was not impressed with the person who checked us in. He gave us a room with a king bed when my confirmed reservation specifically requested a room with 2 queen beds. Fortunately, they honored my original reservation. They are definitely way overpriced, and I would not recommend this hotel to family and friends. One good feature they offered was a complimentary shuttle with very courteous and friendly drivers.

great place to go with a family clean staff is welcoming.

We had a great time. The staff were wonderful. We have to small kids and never felt like we were a bother which sometimes happens in a fancier environment.
