Novotel Brussels off Grand'Place

The location is excellent, walking distance from the Grand Place. The bed was not so big and the sofa bed was uncomfortable for my kid.

Being near the Brussels Central railroad station and Grand Place is a perfect location for those wanting to do day trips and enjoy the City of Brussels, too. The hotel was pleasant, clean, with nice sized rooms. Staff was available to answer questions, give advice and/or directions. My family and I would stay here again.

I booked this hotel solely for its location. It clearly caters to a business clientele but that caters for tourists and families alike. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and the rooms are very comfortable, spacious and airy. If you are sharing the room had a separate toilet to the shower room, a blinks of you are sharing with someone who takes too long in the shower. A huge flat screen TV, USB ports to charge your devices and a fridge in the room. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of cold and cooked options. There is a limited lunch and evening menu and I tried it one evening and it was was excellent. The price of food and at the bar were good value which is not always the case in hotels. It is perfectly located right by the cities Central Station (2 minutes walk) and within walking distance of most of the sites of Brussels. With a taxi rank outside and Metro, Trams and buses all handy there don’t anywhere in Brussels you cannot get to easily. I also took a trip to Bruges from the Central Station which is only an hour away. There are a multitude of places to eat and drink within walking distance and you cannot miss the waffle houses and Chocolatiers if that’s your thing. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Very nice hotel, family friendly !

Overall would stay in this property again. Property is close to everything you want to visit within 5-15 mins walk. Breakfast was sufficient but not over the top. Plenty of dining options around and some small convenience/grocery stores to buy necessities if needed. Rooms are on the smaller side with a unique layout but we stayed there with two kids so our sofa was converted into two twin beds. The hotel is also close to Central so any side trups are a train ride away.

We had a family room. The two kids beds were cot style but both kids found them comfortable.

Front desk staff lady who checked us in was very unfriendly. They also charge 30 Euro per day for a 1 year old infant which I thought was excessive. Plus no room service for meals - not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Even if you order Uber eats, you have to go to front desk to pick it up. Property is very convenient and close to all major attractions which is a plus. House keeping staff was excellent.

Stayed here for two nights with family. Very convenient location and comfortable room. Rollaway beds weren’t very comfortable but then again they’re rollaway beds. Staff were helpful and friendly and happy to give us an extra bottle of water when we asked. Would stay again.
