ibis Brussels off Grand Place

Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for our family. It is so close to the Grand place and we enjoyed the lively music during the evening and on the weekends.

I chose this hotel because of its location. I got a corner room with a view of the plaza outside the window. However, there are several complaints I have that knocked off stars from my review. First, my family ended up with bug bites. Altho our beds looked clean we still ended up with bug bites, not just one of us but all three of us. Not sure if they really washed the sheets or changed it or just patted it. Second, there was a used towel hanging on the back of the door entrance that the cleaning staff forgot to take out probably from the last occupants. Third, then when they changed our towels they gave us 2 towels for all 3 of us. Good thing my son is not picky. I’m not usually picky with hotels but these bed bugs/bug bites really got to me. I hope they improve their housekeeping & room cleanliness.

Perfect location! Close to train station and Grand Place, right in the heart of Brussels. We were concerned about hearing noise from streets at night, when it gets packed but we didn’t hear a thing. Rooms are very small and don’t have a small fridge nor give complimentary water bottles as other hotels do. They did, however , give our kid chocolate and candy, which was nice. We ended up having dinner at the hotel bar once b/c it was pouring outside and the pizza was very good. Overall, a very good experience and I would stay there again.

Of our 15 day family trip across Europe this was our favorite hotel and city. The rooms were large and spacious, there is endless dining options, and you could walk to everything you wanted to see in Brussels. Would absolutely stay here again.
