I could not say enough great things about this place, we stayed in 3 different places in Yellowstone and Teton and this was the absolute best!! Amenities were great! Food was fantastic and so many things to do onsite! Plan in our family trip for next year now!

Really nice piece of history and preserved well. Good selection of restaurants and amenities. Cottage rooms are small for today's standards. 4 adults cannot stay in a cottage room comfortably. It's a good choice for a mom, dad and maybe 2 small kids. Also, pricing is very high, but all pricing is crazy when staying on national park property July 4th week. They just gouge you.

A very disappointing trip for my family. Our keys didn't work to our room...had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to run new ones out to us. The icemaker was broken. The rooms didn't have any A/C. The restaurant was closed due to a company party that spilled out onto the back lawn area and was very uncomfortable for my family. Construction was everywhere. Most importantly was the knock at 7:45AM from room service wondering if we'd already checked out. We were all asleep and all we heard was 3 loud knocks and then a key opening our door. Who does room service at 7:45AM? Not a pleasant experience for my family.

Perfect spot for families visiting Grand Teton. The cottages held four of us easily, very clean and quiet. Easy walk to main lodge with several eating amenities. We absolutely loved our time here.

This resort is extremely overpriced for the property. Our family walked into a cottage full of flies and small insects as the screens on the windows were damaged and nonfunctional. After spending an hour killing insects, we took showers to find that our shower was backed up and not working. It was chilly at night and I tried to close the window but it wouldn't budge so it was a very cold and long night. There is noise of construction around the entire property and the cabins are musty with mold/mildew smells. I wouldn't pay more than $100/night for this place and was robbed of over $400/night!! I demanded a refund after all of these disappointments but was told I would only get $150 back which I still have not seen reflected on my credit card. Extremely DISAPPOINTED with the lack of help and no phone call from Expedia. I will NEVER book through Expedia again!

You pay for incredible location and unique/rustic ambiance of the lodge. Beyond that the experience was average. Staff was friendly and positive, but their attention to detail and execution was fair at best. We requested a crib, it was confirmed by email following booking, by phone the day of travel, and at check in. No crib in room and the crib provided was a pack n play. I expected something more given the reputation of GTLC. The room was generally clean, but there was missed corners - including a water bottle under the bed skirt from the previous guest and a noisy misaligned door (I fixed; turned 2 screws). The pool was freezing and staff said the heater was broken.
Restaurants and food service available for a family with young children (4&1) was very limited and we were forced to eat at the Pioneer Grill three times. While the staff was very friendly and "helpful" the dood was mis prepared in some wall ALL THREE time we at there. They for got sides, mis made orders or simy made bad food - my wife's chicken was seared and raw in the middle (thank God she cut the sandwich) and how make Mac n cheese un-eatable. The other restaurant was unable to serve their entire menu due to passing storms because their kitchen was outside w/out protection from elements.
In the end we had a good trip because we got to stay in Grand Teton and close to Yellowstone, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Facilities, food options, and execution need improvement to be worth the nightly rate.

Jackson Lake Lodge was a convenient base camp for exploring Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Staying onsite at a National Park is always a mixed bag. The properties are a fascinating glimpse back to the time and styles of when they were built with pretty basic sleeping accommodations and no/few modern amenities. That said, the location cannot be beat and the views of the Tetons are magnificent. We enjoyed the stunning scenery from Lunch Tree Hill, an easy hiking trail accessed from the lodge, and at the Blue Heron Restaurant, which has great cocktails, a good selection of local beers and a small menu that met the needs of the omnivores, vegetarians and picky eaters in our family. We also had a nice dinner in the Mural Room - however the views are eclipsed by the current restoration that the property had notified us of in advance. Other highlights include the outdoor pool and play area that we’re a welcome relief to our kids after a long car ride. We also made a drive (6 miles or so) to Signal Mountain Lodge for a really good breakfast at the Trapper Grill. It’s casual with a deck overlooking the lake. They had a nice gift shop and The Peaks Restaurant and Dead Man’s Bar on-site look like fun options for the evening. We’ll try them next time.
