Best Western Plus Milwaukee West

Will not be staying at this location again. Smell of mold/mildew and marijuana throughout the facility. The front desk was very nice upon check in. But overall felt it was not worth the price. The bathrooms are crazy small and did not work well for our family of three. The rooms were okay… not as clean and nice as I would have hoped. The pool area was big but had a terrible smell of mold, sewage and marijuana. Not impressed overall and will not be staying here again.

We picked this hotel because we were visiting family. The front desk employees were so kind and welcoming as they checked us in. Signed up for their reward program and were giving 2 tickets to use in the bar/restaurant they have in the lower level of the building. We had dinner there both days, the first day the food was not the best, but might have been me and what i picked, we decided to give it another try on Saturday night and it was great. They have a few bar machines to play that we won a little money on and their drinks are so good not too light or too strong. We tried the pool and hot tub both days and the second night both were freezing. I did hear that by morning they were working correctly again, so i thought that was a good turn around to repair the issue. Our rooms climate control was not working. The first night it was 75 degrees in there! It was very uncomfortable. The lady at the front desk informed us that the windows opened and she made a note to have maintenance fix the issue on Monday. We slept much better the second night. We did notice too that the remote was dirty and there was some hairballs on the floor but for the most part the room was awesome. I would 10/10 recommend!

Staff was kind. Had trouble with the computer to check in. Stated it was their system. Had to come back several hours later to complete check in. Pool area not clean. Someone's fake eyelashes were on a table around the pool. None of the drains worked on the pool deck so there were very large puddles of standing water. Also, the standard room beds were extremely small. Tough to fit a family of four in the space, where we typically have no difficulty. Room was decent, just very tight quarters.

Very much enjoyed this property a lot of things in the room are up to date very cute and cozy nice for family stay! I would highly recommend

The building itself is old and run down but the staff who work there try vey hard to keep it clean and running smoothly! The only bad thing was that you could hear every step the family above us took. That was very hard to sleep through. Overall a great place and staff in an old building.

This was our second stay here at Best Western Plus Milwaukee West. The room was nice and clean. We were comfortable. The best part of the stay was the service particularly the Front Desk Manager Justin. He was very accommodating to our situation and provided a complimentary room upgrade. He was very quick to help and overall a nice person. We will definitely stay here again when in town visiting family.

Close to American family field

They refused initially to let me stay at the property due to a 30 mile outside Milwaukee rule. With my children at 5 pm on new years we had no where to go. I literally had to find an expired I’d to stay there. If this is a rule then this needs to be stated clearly and no one should be able to book there. My kids where crying and the whole ordeal took 2 and half hours to check in. I was humiliated.

Upon arrival the lobby looked clean. The check in clerk was less than welcoming, & we felt like an inconvenience. Parking was minimal, so I’m glad we were there early. Unfortunately the room ac did not work properly. There was a washcloth shoved underneath to catch condensation, and cooling was minimal. The closet door didn’t open, and the bathroom was extremely tiny. There were no towels for the pool (except in a pile at the bottom of the pool) and about half the lights out. The keycard entry to the pool was disconnected making it accessible to anyone including people at the restaurant/ bar on the lower level. There was yelling in the halls, strong aroma of smoke and a definite party happening. Finally around 1am a security guard told them to quiet down. The morning breakfast was good. As a parent staying with kids, I wouldn’t stay here again.
