what an absolutely amazing property. not really an air bnb and not really a hotel, The Kinn perfectly finds the sweet spot between them both. incredible spacious rooms with great amenities. the common area is a cool concept. great full kitchen and lounging area. plenty of private fridge space. you will definitely meet and talk to other guests in this area. we enjoyed meeting interesting guests from Canada and Germany. the location is perfect and within walking distance of many sights and restaurants. the valet parking was always timely regardless of the time of day. the real gem of this property, and the feature that makes it all worthwhile is the manager Michael. I have never meant a more friendly and helpful person. his recommendations for dining and things to do were always spot on. trust me, take his advise and you will not be disappointed! Either in person or via text, Michael was always available and attentive to our needs. saying goodbye to Michael after our 4 day stay was like saying goodbye to family! My family has stayed at plenty of boutique hotels over the years, but The Kinn Guesthouse and Michael are truly head and shoulders above all the rest. make your reservation now, you will not regret it!!

I am not sure what I love more about the Kinn Guesthouse...the very cool vibe and space or the location. Walkable to the river, the Summer Fest, the Public Market...you name it. This place is the coolest concept that I have ever seen and I am positive we will be back. All of the perks of a hotel AND all of the perks of AirBNB. Beautiful shared living area with room specific refrigerator space. Coffee! Dining Table! Living room space! So many fantastic restaurants nearby and you can actually warm up your left overs! Want to pick up fresh goods at the Public Market and cook a beautiful dinner in? Everything that you need for that too. This would be a great place for a family gathering or a work retreat. Friendly staff on site and lovely rooms. 5 Stars across the board!

Love this concept and hope to see more Kinn properties in the future. Reminded me of the Auberge-style facilities that you might see in Europe, only this place is more modern. Spacious room, beautiful kitchen/lounge area, helpful staff. Would be ideal for a large family traveling together or for a special event (though I was traveling alone and it was really great too). One suggestion might be an honor bar and/or some additions for breakfast. Would love to see a little more care being paid to the gym as well — probably can’t be larger at this point but could be brighter and better equipped. All in all a great stay and would recommend to anyone!

The most unique vibe for a weekend trip to Milwaukee. The rooms have great decor, open space in all dimensions (room and bathroom), and sleep experience. The open "penthouse" shared space with fully stock kitchen, livingroom space, and boardroom space was incredible for use throughout the day and night. Shared conversations with other guests in this space getting refreshments or making meals was a new experience that our family enjoyed. Highly recommend staying at Kinn Guesthouse Downtown ... the staff and GM were very helpful providing valuable insight on areas to visit as well.

We visited Milwaukee for a family wedding. The guest house layout was perfect for our extended family. Everyone had a private room/bath, but the common areas provided a great spot to gather during downtime. Michael and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The facility is brand new and pristine. The extras that they provide (wine, coffee snacks and French pastries) were much appreciated! Concierge floor service for a great price. We will be back!

We love this concept! It would be perfect for a group of friends or family traveling together. The kitchen was full of cool amenities and fully stocked with welcoming wine, delicious coffee and plenty of room to store our food. We took advantage of the large umbrellas and free washer and dryer right next to our unit. There were even detergent pods and dryer sheets! That was especially helpful after many days on the road. The bed was super comfy. The pillows were fab. We loved the high ceilings, walk-in shower and fluffy towels. The location was terrific. Unfortunately, we were unable to snag a room with a view. This would be only one reason to select another room. We were in room 309 which must be right by the dumpster because very early in the morning we were awakened by what sounded like an alien landing. We had a few snags with figuring out the lighting which caused some disrupted sleep. It would be helpful to have more instructions in the room regarding the operation of the various switches and controls. We wish we knew about the parking options other than valet. The valet attendants were very helpful and responsive; however, with the addition of convenience fees, parking was more expensive than we anticipated. We were disheartened to see we could’ve parked in the lot right across the street which we did not know until we accessed the building after dropping our car with the valet. We would definitely stay at this property again.

The Kinn Guesthouse is fantastic. Great location near the Third Ward and lots of restaurants and the Riverwalk. Each floor has a well appointed living room, kitchen and common space that enhances any family gathering. Fresh pastries each morning and wine in the evening was a nice touch. Highly recommend!
