County Clare Irish Hotel & Pub

What a gem. Bed is great. Everyone treats you like family. It’s cozy and quiet. The pub is a plus. Not always the case. Very happy we chose this place. Oh the art gallery, jazz in the park great concerts at river view and Pabst theatres.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean and very convenient to public transportation as there is a bus stop literally right outside the hotel's door and "the Hop" streetcar stops about a minute away. With some hotels the breakfast area can be very noisy with tons of kids around, etc. but this place was very quiet and peaceful during breakfast hours which was nice. One bit of feedback I'd like to give is the cereal options could have been a bit healthier as the only choices were sugary kids cereal. I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I am in Milwaukee.

The rooms were clean and well kept up staff was excellent food was authentic Irish food and the best I ever had parking is a little tight but it works the rooms were very quiet because mostly older people would be more likely to visit not a place you would find kids I definitely recommend this place

County Clare was a charming and comfortable home base while visiting Milwaukee. Having a cozy Irish pub downstairs is amazing and convenient. After checking in around 7pm at the close of a long day in blustery cold weather, it was SO nice to leave our coats in the room and simply take the elevator downstairs. Kind of makes it feel like you’re visiting family. The pub was lively and welcoming. We had a great dinner and drinks, enjoyed the live music, then back upstairs for a relaxing bath before bed. Perfection. The breakfast, also in the pub, is simple but nice with the addition of the manned omelet station - a great option if you don’t need a big breakfast. We had no problems during our stay. Staff and service were polite and helpful. The location is great too - near enough to many of the places we wanted to visit.

It is 3 blocks from family we we visiting. Room was comfortable, but we are shower, and are not hydrojet tub users. Onsite food is very good. We enjoyed Ben's cooking. The hotel did appear to be a little behind in property maintenance, but explained that they were understaffed. Aside from minor cosmetic issues it is a very good place to stay in Milwaukee.

We love this quaint little hotel! Comfortable bed & very quiet. The restaurant is one of our family favorites in Milwaukee! Free parking is a bonus.
